" I have a bad feeling about this.", you murmured to yourself. You expecting it to be unheard by anyone else. But Eliz heard you loud and clear which bringing her closer to you.
" Why? You feeling sick?"
" No. I'm just..... not sure. But I have a bad feeling about this.", you answered her. But your sudden conversation bringing your other teammates into a big discussion.
" What's the matter? I thought you've been trained for this tournament longer than us?", Zack asked. Everybody was worried about you. You're the core of this team plus, you're more like a family for them. They can't watch you feel the pain that even they can't see.
" It's..... nothing. I just have the bad feelings about how the fight will end.", you confessed. But not all of them ware true. You weren't feeling bad about the tournament. But you can feel something going to happen throughout the festival. It's just not accurate enough for you to know what's wrong about it. Eliz chuckles a bit then patted your head several times.
" Don't worry, Wolf man. We are gonna kick their asses!", she said. Leo and Zack cheer as they heard her. You put a little smile on your lips then look at your courageous team.
" We gonna send them back to their academy with our name held high here!", you cheered. As your team gained the morale they need for the tournament, your team's name was called to enter the arena. Walking in it was a nerve-racking moment. Everyone started to shout for their favorite team and even the commentators celebrate your arrivals. Standing in the straight line facing your opponents, you change the position of your scabbard from your back to your hips, making it easier to draw your katana in this fight.
" Today on the Prestigious Amity Arena, we will witness the first match of the festival between Team (F/n)ZEL of Beacon and Team CEMN of Haven!". As Professor Port has done introducing your team and your opponents to the energetic crowd, you took your time to have a look at your enemies. It appears to be Emerald and Mercury's team. But your attention stuck to their leader who didn't stop smirks to you.
" Got a problem, girl?", you scoffed but she just smiles even wider.
" No. But I'm not sure if you and your.... cute little team can win this fight.", she teased you. Her mocking made your team become more encouraged. Then Eliz just giving Emerald a slice-throat signal which just replied with an eye roll.
" Looks like our brave warriors have ready for their fight! Let's start the arena selections!". The monitors roll up to randomly pick a terrain for the fight. After a few seconds of rolling, we got the forest and ruins terrain." 3, 2, 1. Begin!".
" Zack, Eliz! Get into the ruins! Leon come with me!", you commanded. All of them obey your orders and simultaneously split your enemy teams apart. You and Leo attack the other 2 girls from Team CEMN which one of them has short black hair and the other one wore black attire with a pair of twin ponytails. You attack the leader while Leo strafes the ponytail girl with his FAMAS. But your metal claw swipes were easily blocked with her longbow.
" Huh.... That's some bold move for an assassin like you.", she whispered directly into your ears. Hearing her sharp words making you flinched because she strikes you're mind with your past memories which you've tried so hard to forgets. You quickly kick her out of your way then covers your ears with your hands.
" (Y/n)! You okay?!", Leo shouted but his words didn't bring you back to the fight. You trying so hard to get rid of the memories which keep on playing in your mind. The memories of your assassin's missions making you feel the pain of guilt. Then you were sent flying into the air by a strong kick from that girl. Once you hit a tree with your back, you recovered from the flashbacks then stares right into her eyes. You recognize her pretty well. That amber eyes and a half-covered face from the shoulder-length black hair really did stick in your past memory when you're in the White Fang base. She's Cinder.
