Chapter 9 - No More Secrets ( 2nd part )

3rd Person's POV

"Wow.", Yang exclaimed. Everybody took their turns looking at each other in the crowd, except for (Y/n).

" That's..... Too many to take in.", Weiss said.

" I know. Please don't tell this to anyone. It's not that easy to live with your secrets told."

" We won't, I promise.", Ruby answered. Everybody nodded. (Y/n) sighed relieved. He never breaks his secrets to anyone. Not even the closest person he had.... or because he had no one?

" So, you knew Blake for a long time, huh?", Yang asked.

" Yeah. She trained me once. But not for long since she can't keep up with me as her semblance works differently than mine."

" It's a pain in the ass to try and beat me wasn't it?", Blake interrupted.

" Why you asked? Try to fight a guy that turns into shadows every time you tried to attack him then you know how it feels.", she crossed her arms then looked away.

" Well, I guess it's my turn now?", Zack said." I think mine just the lame one. Wanna be a huntsman, entered Sanctum, met Eliz there", he paused a moment when she smiled from ear to ear looking at him." Applied for Beacon then... Here I am. No rare stuff happened to me before."

" That's fortunate.", Weiss said.

" Oooh! Now it's my turn!", Eliz shrieked. (Y/n) covered his ears as his wolf ones drooped over his head, trying to reduce her high pitched shriek while Blake poked both of her ears letting her cat ears in the ribbon.

" Jeez... Lower your voice, would you?", Zack sighed. She just giggled a bit.

" Before I start. Yang, you told us before that you're spent most of your life, searching for your mother right? What was her name again?", Eliz asked Yang.

" What? Her name is Raven.... Raven Branwen. Why you ask?"

" I knew it. No wonder why you both look familiar. If you guys wanna know the truth.... My family was one of the Branwen tribe." Yang's eyes widened.

" What! You're one of the tribe?"

" You can say that. I was one of them since I was born."

" Wait.... Just wait.... So you're telling me.", Yang paused a moment as she remembered, Eliz didn't tell this to her alone." You're telling us you know my mother?"

"I do not just know her. I'm her prodigy. She taught me a lot." Eliz looks at Yang which obviously looking sad." I just... I didn't know she had a daughter. She never tells me. Well, of course she holds a lot of secrets. She's mysterious." she tried to cheer them up by making some jokes. But it didn't fix Yang's feelings.

" So... You know her right, Eliz? Can you bring me to her anytime?"

" I... Aaa..... I think, of course! Why not? You're her daughter after all."

" So she treated you like her daughter, huh?"

" What? No! Nah, she treated me like a student. But after she found a girl that she teaches over and over again even though that girl can't keep up with her pace, she became more frustrated. Thank god Vernal was there for her. She let me go to Beacon after I finished my training in Sanctum to be a huntress, bringing more power to the tribe."

" And that's where you met Zack, I supposed?", (Y/n) interrupted.

" Yeah! He's the only one that I can keep up with. You can say he's the only friend I had in Sanctum."

" Yeah yeah... You won't believe how we met in the first. She beat a crap out of a bunch of kids try to catch a bird. I just happened to be there then, guess what? I have to help the kids to run from her.", Eliz chuckled." She went crazy, beating every one of them. Thank god their parents didn't try to find her."
