Chapter 5 - Sienna Khan

White Fang High Command
Somewhere in Mistral

Sienna's POV

" High Leader Khan, we've received 2 telegraphs from the Chieftain Mansion in Kuo Kuana."

" From the Chieftain Mansion?"

" Yes. The first one appears to be a straight forward message requesting for your utmost attention. The second one is a cryptic one. Do you wish to let us crack the code for the message?", the messenger said to me. The telegraph usually used for long range communications for sending cryptic messages between each White Fang's main branches to either give high command from the High Leader myself or to receive important information from the branches to the High Leader. But the protocol of giving telegraph shouldn't be like what we've received now. Usually, we will send 1 telegraph from the branch and we will send another one after the High Command have replied the first telegraph. Worth to mention that this telegraph was sent from the Belladonna's Mansion. They haven't contacted us for a long time but why now?

" You don't have to. Let me read the telegraph myself."

" Yes, High Leader.", I rose up from the throne then proceeds to walk out of the Audience Room. Existing the room, I walk my way towards the Communication Room where we gathers all the necessary communication equipment to stay connected with all important locations. Before entering the room, 2 guards greeted me before they open the door, letting me enter it. In the room, a single person was sitting on the chair in front of 5 telegraphs and a set of computer holding 2 piece of papers. As soon as he saw my appearance, he stood up from the chair, bowed towards me then handed me the papers.

" Here are the telegraphs."

" Can you leave me alone for a while?"

" As you commanded, High Leader.", he left the room then shut the door. Without wasting time I continued to read the first paper.

" Humble lupus reporting to the Top of the Food Chain.", from the words, it was clearly a message from my one and only 'son', (y/n). Taking a short time to make sure the room is empty, I start to read the second telegraph.

" New age has arrived, now the wolf wanders alone in the wilderness. The world of mortals now endangered with fear, the monsters are getting wild while the beasts are getting bold. Sharp nose of a wolf detect a scent of danger. A raging bull coming to ramp the ranks. Be wary, be cautious. As the wolf can not venture further into the wilderness, the King must find his way alone. The wolf sends his regards."

" So that's how it is, huh?", I whispered slowly. Thinking back it has been quite a while since the last time I've exchanged a few words with him. Even though he wasn't my biological son, but I've spent quite a long time with him back then. Who else trained him into such formidable assassin non other than this old lady and her comrades? Maybe I can meet him later. Without thinking twice, I keep the telegraphs into my pouch bag at my waist.

Then I used the telegraph to send one to the Belladonna's Mansion to reply his messages. After that I exited the room where I found 3 Faunus out of the room standing still waiting for my appearance.

" You may continue your job."

" Yes, Your Highness.". I continue to walk straight to my throne to rest on it like what I've used to do. Not long after I took a seat at the throne, 1 of the guards from the main Headquarters entrance came to face me.

" High Leader Khan, you have a visitor who wished to have a talk with you.". This came out of nowhere. Usually, a meeting with the high leader should be arranged few days prior before hand to avoid any clashes with my schedules. Only emergencies can be done in this manner.
