Chapter 12 - Painting the Town

3rd Person POV

The class with Professor Port was the worst. He always spent his time in the lecture hall to tell the story about his past. Weiss was letting her head rest on her left palm, looking at the digital clock right in front of her, ignoring Professor Port's 'lecture' and also.... Jaune. (Y/n) was watching the scene from his usual seat at the upper level of the lecture hall with his teammates. As the clock rang signaling the people in the hall of the time was already 4.00 p.m., Professor Port closes his lecture.

" I respect Jaune.", (Y/n) said.

" What? Why?", Leo asked.

" He was so determined to stole Weiss' heart away. Even though she is the coldest 'Ice Queen'."

" Well, that's a hood side of him. But he can't beat Professor Port. He took ages to finish his stories.", Eliz whined.

" He lived more than what we have. It can't be helped, right?", Zack said. All of the other team (F/n)ZEL's members shrugged. All of the students leave the hall. Some went to the canteen while the others minded their own businesses either go to the dorm and so on. Team RWBY rushed into their room, readied themselves for the mission, Mission 'Torched'Wick.

(Y/n) wasn't left behind, he ran into his room, changing the school uniform into his new outfit. Wearing a grey, folded long sleeves shirt paired with a worn-out navy blue jeans and also a pair of black boots. He knocked on team RWBY's door. Not long after that, Blake opened the door, letting him walks into it.

" Wow! Nice outfit you got there!", (Y/n) surprised. All team RWBY members changed their outfits, not with their regular one. They used a different set of clothing to hid their real selves in the crowd.

" Yours isn't that bad either.", Yang answered then winked towards him. Blake rolled her eyes after what she saw." Don't be jealous, Blake. He's all yours."

" Yang!”, Blake yelled. Her cheek turned as red as Ruby's new dress. She turned away from (Y/n), hiding her now blushing face. Yang just chuckled seeing her.

" Er.... What's happening here?", (Y/n) asked confused.

" I can't believe you being so bold now.", Weiss said.

" What did you just said, Ice Queen?"

" Okay guys, stop joking around already. Today is the day. The investigation begins!", Ruby said as she jumped off her bunk bed.

" I'm glad we're taking this 'so' seriously." Weiss said as she moved ever so slightly, avoiding Ruby from hitting her from that jumped.

" Hey, we've got a plan. That's... Moderately serious.", Yang fired her from the top of the other bunk bed.

" Right! Everyone remember their roles?", Ruby asked.

" You and I'll head to the CCT to check the Schnee records for any other Dust robberies or inconsistencies. Seeing I'm in the family it shouldn't be a problem.", Weiss answered.

" Ehem...", Blake cleared her throat before explain them the role she and (Y/n) have. "The White Fang has regular faction meetings to hand out orders and recruit new members. If I and (Y/n) can get in, we can hopefully find out what they're planning.", Blake continued. Yang giggled after what she just saw. Blake just rolled her eyes while her arm crossed.

" I've an old friend on the shady side of town that typically knows everything going on in Vale. Getting information out of him shouldn't be too hard."

" Great! We'll meet up tonight near Yang to go over what we've found. Let's do this!", Ruby cheered.

" Yeah!", Sun cheered out of nowhere. They all backed away from the window as Sun was there, hanging on something using his tail.
