Chapter 15 - Night to Remember

This chapter tends to be the longest chapter I've written so far. I'm sorry for it firstly because I'm trying to fit in everything that happened on the dance night. Hope you enjoy this chapter!

First Person POV

Timeskip

" Which one suits me better? Necktie or bowtie?", you asked as Zack was trying to help you with your suit. Leo took your tie then looked at you.

" Of course the necktie suits you more.", he said as he started to help you tie it for you. You never know how to dress up like this. All these years, you've been living in the outside world where you have to fight to live. And surely dressing up in a suit was not the way to make you stronger. Eliz was wearing a purple to the pink gradient, floor-length dress which has a split to her left thigh on the left side. Her hair was neatly combed to one side with a sakura-shaped hair clip on her bangs, keeping it from falling all over her face. Zack and Leo just wore a normal black suit with different colored bowties. Only you wear (F/c) colored suit in your team." Here.", Leo said as he helped you wear the necktie.

" Are you sure we wouldn't die of suffocating in this? This tie thingy really cutting my air out!", you whined.

" Have you found anybody died because of his necktie before?", Zack asked. You just rolled your eyes. Eliz came to you then help you loosen the necktie that was a bit too tight around your neck.

" There. Feeling better?", she asked. You just nodded." Don't worry, (Y/n). I'm sure she'll love it."

" Will you confess to her tonight!", Zack asked.

" I bet he's not just going to confess. He might have planned something...", Leo added with a smug. Zack wasn't left behind, he smug as well.

" Guys! We should support our dearest kanchou. Not tease him.", she scolded. Honestly, you're surprised. Before this Eliz always the one who loves to joke around and stuff. But tonight, she had been rather more mature from the others. You just felt relieved to have a friend who can help you with this kinda thing.

" Hey, (Y/n)! When you meet her, don't forget to say anything about her dress.", Zack advised while looking into the mirror and fixing his hair.

" Well, I think I should go now. It's not a good idea to take her time, right?", you said.

" Yeah! As far as I know, she's alone now in her room because all of the teammates left earlier.", Eliz added. You looked into the mirror for the last time before meeting Blake, trying to gain more confidence. Zack patted on your shoulder before you had the chance to grab the doorknob.

" Hey. Before you go, why don't we take a few pictures together?", he suggested while gesturing his scroll in the air.

" That's a good idea!", Leo cheered.

" Why don't we take it after the dance? I'm sure we got plenty of time for that after the dance.", you said. Deep down you agreed with Zack's opinion but you don't want to let Blake left alone in her room waiting for you. You would rather rush to that room at that very moment.

" Aw come on! We won't look the best after that dance!", Zack whined." Please... Just one shot?", he begged. You let off a sigh before you turn your body towards him.

" Okay. Just one shot.", you said.

Meanwhile

Blake's POV

" He sure took a long time.", I murmured to myself. If he didn't send a message through the scroll about the wait for him in my room, I would be in the hall with the others right now. I was waiting right in front of the table, reading a book. After I've read a few pages of the 'Ninjas of Love', I heard a knock on the door as well as his calling.
