"Melody... Melodyy..."
I swatted at whatever was making the noise before pulling a pillow to cover my head.
"MEL!"
My body sat straight up, the pillow falling onto my lap.
Bucky and Steve were standing at the foot of the bed. Bucky was holding the file that I had tucked into my backpack before we left Wakanda. "Why the hell do you have this?"
I fell backward, pulling the pillow up over my head. "No. It's too early."
"It's noon, Mel." Bucky threw the file down on the bed at my feet. "Why was this hidden with your stuff? We had an agreement."
I motioned my hand from Bucky to Steve. "He's right there. Give it to him."
"I told him you read it..." Steve finally chimed into the conversation.
"If you both don't leave and let me sleep, I swear to gods, I will end you both." I grabbed one of the spare pillows and threw it at them.
"You have to get up, Melody. We have a mission." Steve grabbed the blankets and yanked them off of me.
I sighed and got out of bed. Heading straight to the bathroom and turned on the water. I waited for the bedroom door to close before stripping down and getting into the shower.
"We had an agreement, Mel." Bucky came into the bathroom and sat down on the toilet.
I rolled my eyes, "You were in cryogenic sleep and I was stuck in that damn hut by myself. Why do you think I packed everything up and brought it to the hospital."
"You sat in the hospital... and read all of the things in this file... and hurt, while I was unable to help..." The sound of his foot tapping against the floor echoed in the small room.
I opened the shower door slightly, just to peek my head out to see him. "Bucky, I am fine. I promise you, I am ok."
He wouldn't look up at me, just stared down at the ground while he clenched his fists.
"Bucky, look at me."
He turned his head slightly to look over at me. He looked as if he was in pain.
I sighed softly and closed the shower door, grabbing the shampoo to wash my hair. "Do you not believe me?"
"I do. I'm just disappointed."
I finished up my shower, turning the water off and reaching out to grab my towel. When I stepped out I walked over to Bucky. I gently grab his chin and pull him to look at me, leaving a soft peck on his nose. "Please don't be upset with me. I promise I'm ok. I don't know how many times I need to say it."
He nodded in my hand.
"So are you going to tell me about this mission we are supposed to be doing?" I turned to walk into the bedroom to grab my clothes. Putting on a pair of skinny jeans and a tank top, then zipping on a tactical vest with plenty of pockets.
Bucky walked out of the bathroom once he heard me messing with my boot zippers. Coming over and grabbed my foot before zipping up my shoe himself, then doing the same with the other. "I don't know completely what's going on. Something about a criminal group trying to take over something. I found your file while Steve was explaining so I wasn't paying much attention."
I smile as I take his hand and stand up. On my way out the door, I grab a small pile of holsters I have yet to put on me. Turning around to look at Bucky while I walk backward. "A mission. With the good guys. I'm so excited!"
Bucky and I make our way to the hanger where we met up with Steve. He was talking to Tony about the plans for our mission.
"Ok. You guys will be going to this warehouse and retrieving the information from this computer." Tony had pulled up a hologram. Showing us locations of the things we needed to collect while we were gone. "It shouldn't be too hard of a mission. Pretty easy for a first actually."
He handed us little earpieces to put in as well as small holographic phones. "And these are Stark Tech upgrades from your old phones. These should be easier to use and keep with you in the field. Per Steve's request, you guys will be riding motorcycles to your destination."
My eyes lit up with excitement as he motioned us towards three bikes. I squealed as I left the boys behind, running over to inspect one of the bikes. "Hell Ya!"
Bucky chuckled as he walked behind me. "You spoil her, Steve."
I giggled as I looked up to see Steve standing by a rack of weapons. I gasped before rushing over to him.
"Now, I know this isn't my style but I felt you two would be amused." Steve gently tapped the rack.
"You know me too well Steve." I smiled as I started grabbing guns off the shelves. Strapping my holsters onto my leg and then threw on a shoulder holster before putting guns into each spot.
"Yep. Spoiled." Bucky smiled as he walked over and started grabbing guns himself. Putting bigger ones into a duffle bag.
Once I was ready I strolled back over to the bike I picked out. Hopping onto it and flipped the switch. I started the bike, revving it once I got the engine on. I squeaked with excitement as I looked up at Steve who had the biggest smile on his face.
"Hey F.R.I.D.A.Y." Tony walked over to us. "Please show Steve, Bucky, and Melody the directions to their mission location."
"Yes, Mr. Stark." A voice coming from speakers echoed through the hanger. Small holograms popped up on the bike with instructions on where we needed to go for our missions.
I gasped as my head turned to look at Steve, then Tony, then Steve again.
Steve chuckled as he got onto his own bike. "Alright, let's go."
"Keep up boys." I squeaked happily before taking off down the road on my bike. Steve and Bucky are following closely behind me.

The A.I. brought us to a parking garage a few blocks down from the warehouse our mission was at. We had to walk a little way to get to the warehouse, but the roads were empty so it wasn't horrible. I was just excited to be hanging out with my brother and Bucky again, like the good old days.
"Ok, this should be it." Steve checked his phone to make sure that we were at the right location. "Melody, you and Bucky can go up and get the files from the computer. I will stay down here."
I followed closely behind him while Bucky stayed behind me, making sure no one got to us from behind. When we got into the warehouse there was no one in sight. I made my way over to a staircase as quietly as I could. Men were talking in the office that I was supposed to go into.
Bucky snuck in front of me, crouching under the windows. He listened to the conversation, waiting for a good opportunity to attack. There was a second door on the other side of the room. Bucky snuck around to it before pulling out a Glock and shooting one of the men in the leg, causing him to fall to the ground.
This allowed me to run in and jump on the other man, pulling him to the ground. I grabbed onto the hair on the back of his head. Pulling his head up and then smacked it down on the ground, just hard enough for him to go unconscious.
The guy that Bucky had shot pulled a gun out, aiming it directly at me. Bucky quickly rushed over, kicking the man's gun so that when he pulled the trigger, the bullet shattered one of the windows right behind me. Then reaching over to punch the guy, knocking him out cold as well.
I stood up and brushed off my knees before walking over to the computer. I inserted a flash drive and then copied all of the files I could find on the computer onto the drive. I listened to Bucky move around the men, tying them up and sitting them in the corner of the room.
"How are you guys doing up there?" Steve yelled from downstairs.
"Uh... Ok now." Bucky walked over to the railing to look down at him.
"I almost got shot," I yelled back before watching Bucky's head snap towards me.
Steve let out a chuckle. "Well, that sounds like loads of fun."
Once the files were done downloading I grabbed the drive and walked out by Bucky. I looked down at Steve, showing him the drive before shoving it into one of my vest pockets. "It really was."
"Alright. We should be good to go if you have..." Steve was cut off mid-sentence by the sound of a gunshot. Steve quickly spun around, throwing his shield, nailing the guy in the head with it. Causing him to fall flat on his ass, knocked out.
Bucky reacted just fast enough to pull me from where I was standing. The bullet flew past me and grazed my bicep.
"Mother fucker!" I growled in pain. I brought my hand up to my arm, pulling my hand back to see blood on my fingers. "Steve, you were supposed to keep an eye out."
"Well shit. Are you ok?" Steve caught his shield and immediately ran up the stairs to grab my arm. Inspecting the mark and making sure it's ok.
I pulled my arm away before heading down the stairs. "I am fine. We need to go before we make a bigger mess."
Bucky caught up to me, grabbing onto my arm and looking at it while I walked out of the warehouse back to the parking garage.
When we got to the bikes Steve grabbed a bottle of water out of one of the bike's storage bags. Bucky used the water to clean off my arm before using a piece of his shirt to wrap up the wound.
I sat on my bike glaring at both of them. "Why are you two treating me like a baby? If this was anyone else you'd let them walk it off. I can walk it off."
"Well, you're not anyone else. So no. I have the stuff to take care of now so I will do as I please." Bucky pulled on the cloth to make sure it was as tight as he could get it around my arm.
I winced at the pain before swatting at him. "Leave it alone, Bucky. It's fine."
Bucky took off his jacket and held it up.
I rolled my eyes before I slid my arms into the sleeves. "I'm not a child."
He hummed softly as he walked over to his own bike, getting onto it and then turning it on. Completely ignored what I said.
"We can stop and get food on the way back." Steve chimed in, trying to break some tension.
I crossed my arms over my chest, the sleeves of the jacket dangling over my hands. "Fine but I get to pick."

We found a little Chinese restaurant a ways away from the warehouse. Steve went in and decided to change into a different outfit. I ordered fairly quickly as well as Bucky. Bucky would bring home a fair amount of Chinese food while we were staying in Romania so I had a decent idea of what I wanted... Steve took forever.
"If you left it alone it wouldn't be hurting so bad." I pouted, looking up at Bucky. My arms were wrapped around him and my chin was pressed against his chest, standing in front of him.
He raised his hands to brush my hair out of my face. Letting out a soft chuckle as he looked down at me. "Well if I had left it, it could have gotten infected. Then it would hurt even more than it does now."
"Ya but it hurts now. If you left it, it wouldn't hurt until it's infected. Then... if I don't take care of it, I could be just like you." I giggled as I gently tapped his vibranium arm with my nail. I listened to the clink, before placing my hand back on his back.
He glared at me, shaking his head. "Over my dead body."
"Ok. We should be good to go. Do we want to eat here?" Steve walked up behind me holding a couple of bags with our food in them.
"Can you carry it back?" I turned around to look at him.
He nodded, "Ya. We should be able to."
