Just An Eventful Morning

-The next day-

I was woken up to the sound of kids running around, sitting up as I looked around trying to get myself oriented while scratching my head then rubbed my eyes trying to get some of that morning glory out of my face

I sighed then stretched the sleep out of me as I heared someone calling my name

"Harley~!" I turned to look at where the voice was calling me and saw alicia holding her hair as she looked at me with pleading eyes

"Can you help me fix my hair?" she asked throwing the puppy eyes at me

I sighed, cracked a smile and said "Okay. Okay. I'll help you so put those puppies away, yeah?"

Alicia's frowned turned upside down then nodded her head and said "Un"

'This kids will be the death of me... Am K foreshadowing my death?... Am I gonna die like rengoku?... Ace?... Conny? FREAKING KAZUMA?!...' I thought long and hard to the point alicia was waving her hand up at my face, pulling me out of my train of thought

"Harley? You okay? What were you thinking about?" she asked with worry on her voice and on her face

I looked at her eyes and cupped her cheeks then said "Just thinking about how cute you are and that bs..."

"B...S...?" she asked tilting her head to the side with a confused look on her face

"Oh just some nonsense. hehehe... Any who lets braid that hair of yours then go get breakfast, how does that sounds?" I asked sweat dripping down to my chin

"Yeah!"

-Timeskip-

After finishing braiding alicia's hair, I started going to the cafeterria all by myself... Since alicia was going to go with gemima and mark later on

Still in my pajamas and my bed hair, to lazy to take a shower or bath or do my bed or even get ready for the day

'If I get in trouble... It is what it is.' I thought to myself as I yawned

I opened the doors and saw norman and ray helping set up the food while emma and gilda were setting up the table

Not wanting to get in their way, I just went to my seat then started fixing my hair, still feeling a bit sluggish

After waiting for a couple of minutes, mama came to the room with kids running past her as they went to their respective seats

As the trio went to seat on their seats, they were a bit surprised when they looked at me

Getting annoyed from their stares, I asked "What?..."

"What do you mean "What"? You're in your pajamas." ray said looking back and fourth, from head to toe

"Yeah, so?..."

"Did you even shower or brushed your teeth?" emma asked

"No..." I just smiled

"Why didnt you?" norman asked

"Why not..." I answered with a shrugged

"Why not?" emma asked tilting her head

"Yeah. Why not." I smiled nodding

"Mama gonna be angry when she finds out." gilda said with a worried look on her face

"If she gets mad then so be it..." I said with a toothy smile

Norman was about to say something until we heard the sound of the bell making everyone quiet

Mama started saying the usual prayer and we started eating our fill

I was busy eating my eggs and bacon as I listening to emma, ray, norman, gilda and don talking about stuff... Until I heard footstep. Not paying it any mind, I just went back to listening and eating

"Mama why is harley still in her pajamas?" I heard a voice all to familiar

I paused, mouth wide open with a spoon in front of it with an egg to accompany it

I looked to where mama was and saw phil next to her pointing at my direction

I sighed as I thought to myself 'Phil, I love you but goddamn why you gotta be a snitch'

"Mama, what's a snitch?" "Yeah what does goddamn mean?" "Mama is bs a word? Harley said it means nonsense? I just wanna know if its true or not?"

Now fully awaked with eyes shot wide open

I looked at mama fast not giving a shit if I get whiplashed

I saw her face looking shocked as she looked at the kids then to me with a closed eyed smile

'... Fuck...'

I sighed and stood up slamming my hands on the table while my chair went back a bit with a scrapping noise

I inhaled deep and sharp then exhale all calmly

I looked at our mother as she looked at me waiting for an explanation

"Okay... I have a very good explanation and reason for what I did..." I said looking all emotionless but in reality was scared as fuck

"I'm waiting..." mama said, arms crossed, fingers tapping on her arm all slowly

The silence was so damn quiet to the point a pin can be heard when its dropped

I started walking to where she were as I side glanced at the oldest bunch looking all worried except the prince of the emos

As I stood infront of her looking at me all disappointed, still tapping her fingers

I looked at her in the eyes and shouted "... Its was ray!"

"She's lying!"

"No I dont!"

"Yes your are! I didnt do anything!"

"I can prove it!"

"Okay, harley prove to us that I'm a liar."

"Liarsayswhat?"

"What?!"

"Ha! See he IS a liar!"

"ENOUGH! Both of you!"

Mama shouted shutting us up, as I was smilling like an idiot while ray looked to be the same as ever

"Now harley? Who taught you those words?" mama asked looking at me with a face that dont want to take no bullshit

"...Ray..." I answered as my feet looked suddenly interesting

"Ray~?" mama looked to where he was

"I didnt do anything!" he reasoned

"Ray~!" mama exclaimed not leaving room for anything

"Fine... I may or may not have said those words infront of harley before." he said looking away

"Well that explains that. Now harley." mama then looks at me

"Explain to me why are you still in your pajamas?" she asked

"I didnt feel like getting ready." I said still looking at my feet

Mama sighed then grabbed my chin forcing me to look at her loving eyes and smile, as she caressed my cheek

"You just want to stay in ylur pajamas for the whole day, right?" she asked with a gentle smile

I just nodded my head with a frown on my face

She sighed and said "You can stay in your pajamas for the day, only if you promise me you take a bath, change your clothes at night and stop saying those words. Do we have a deal?"

With a big smile that can never rival emma's, I nodded my head then hugged her while saying "Yes!" over and over again

As mama was patting my head and rubbing my back, she suddenly says with a smile "Now that that's settled. You're going to be the one who washes the dishes and sweep the floor and ray, you're going to be cleaning the tables as punishment for sayimg those words."

"... WHAT?!"
