As we went down the stairs to be greeted by everyone waiting at the door

I saw some kids crying and some just smiling, happy for me to get "adopted" into a good family

I smiled and walked towards the group and got attacked into a group hug

All I heard was "I'll miss you!" and "Please don't go." as I felt my clothes were getting wet

'I really should start something about having water proof clothes' I thought to myself as I was rubbing some of their backs

"Is this really goodbye?" I looked at phil with the rest of the younger kids looking at me with teary eyes

I smiled and said "Nope! It's just "see you later!" will still see each other on the outside and when we do I'll cook you something delicious!"

"You can cook, harley?" I heard dalia asked

"Of course, I can cook! I'll show you that I can cook a delicious full course meal and sing at the same time!" I stated

"Promise?" I heard nat asked, getting a smile from me

"I promise..." I said

"No, you need to pinkie promise us!" phil said getting nat to pull out his pinkie making me sigh but I smiled none the less

I pulled out mine and intertwined it with his and said "You make a pinkie promise, you keep it all your life. You break a pinkie promise, I throw you on the ice. The cold will kill the pinkie that once betrayed your friend, the frost will freeze your tongue off so you never lie again." getting a weird look again from the kids

"There! Now you need to fulfill the promise or else your pinkie will be cold!" phil said making me smile a sad smile

As I said goodbye to most of the kids leaving out the older 5 for last

As I walked towards where gilda and don were, I quickly hugged both of them and said

"You two keep an eye on those three for me, will ya? I'm afraid they'll do something stupid for my sake and that goes for you two as well! It's already bad if those three do something stupid and with you in tow. Don't forget the younger ones as well." I said as I looked at them with a smile and was wiping their tears with my thumb

"Yeah! I-I'll make sure they st-stay h-healt-th!" gilda hiccupped as tears flowed down her eyes

"Yeah! And I'll m-make sure they won't do something s-stupid!" don hiccupped as well

"Well I want both you two to do the same job so it won't be hard on one of you. It's to at least have both of you have someone to help you when things go bad." I explained getting a small chuckle and a nod from them both

I then went to where norman was and gently hugged him and whispered to his ear "I placed a fake bottom on your drawer. I left instructions there, you know what to do." getting a nod as he hugged me for dear life

I looked him in the eyes and said "It really was a blast growing up with you! I'll treasure the memories we made together!"

"Yeah! It was. Wasn't it. I'll miss you, harley." he said as I saw tears threatening to fall from his eyes

"I know... Thanks for everything." I said going for one last hug and went to where emma was

I heard mama ask norman "Norman, where's ray?"

"He said he didn't want to see harley off..." he answered with a sad smile getting a nod from mama

As I was walking towards emma she boosted herself towards me using her crutches with the device on hand aiming at my tracker

"Harley!" she yelled

Knowing this I quickly grabbed the device and moved so that she lands on me so that she wont fuck up her already messed up leg

"Emma you beautiful naive idiot! What are you doing! You could have seriously hurt yourself! You can't be putting yourself in danger like this!" I scolded

"Shut up! I won't let you go!" she yelled as she hugged me like a life line

"You can still run..." I heard her whisper in my ear her voice breaking at every word

I sighed but smiled none the less. I rubbed her back and said "Emma... I really am sorry for leaving you but you need to understand that I made my choice and I'm not changing it for anything. I promise you will see each other again."

"No... I know your lying so that I can calm down but I'm not that stupid! I can't accept your choice since you really don't want to go." she said

"I really am sorry emma... But I know will see each other again." I said with a sad smile

"Harley, it's time to go." I heard mama say

I smiled and helped emma stand up, norman helping is well giving her the crutches

I sighed and walked towards the door

"Harley, wait!" I heard emma yell

I turned around to see mama whispering something to emma

As mama was finished whispering something, she walked towards me and put a hand on my shoulder

And before she could say anything, I beat her to the punch

"Mama, I want to say goodbye to emma." I said getting a sigh and a smile then a nod

I went to her and said "Make sure you take care of yourself."

"Uhn"

"Don't put everything on norman, okay? He's much more fragile than you think."

"Uhn"

"I really am sorry."

"Uhn"

I went to her and hugged her, as I felt my shoulder getting wet, I said "Thanks for everything, em. Don't give up, yeah?"

"Uhn..."

I pulled out of the hug and wiped her tears then kissed her cheek

I went to where norman was at, hugged him and said "Take care of the others but also yourself, yeah?" getting a nod from him as I kissed his cheek and went to where mama was at

Only to see ray coming down the stares, I turned to look at mama getting a nod of approval, so I went straight to where he was and hugged him getting a hug as if I was a life line again

"Please don't go." he said, his voice breaking as I could feel tears falling onto my shoulder

"I really am sorry, ray. Take care of yourself, okay?" I said pulling out from the hug

I wiped his tears and kissed him on the cheek and went to where mama was at

She grabbed my suitcase and went to open the door until

"Wait! Harley was supposed to sing us a song before she goes!" I heard lannion and thoma shouted getting a "yeah!" from the rest

As mama sighed a sigh of defeat just nodded her head

I looked around for my guitsr only to find out I forgor it

"Here!" I turned to see yvette holding my guitar

I said my thanks and started playing

As I finished playing, I gave my guitar to yvette and said "Keep this safe for me, will ya?" getting a yes from her

"SEE YOU GUYS LATER!" I shouted as I walked out of the door, waving my hand goodbye. Not wanting to look behind me at fear of wanting to stay as the door closed at my waving figure being illuminated by the full moon. Walking side by side with mama as I looked over the distance at the place where I'll surely die
