It only took one night, a handful of unsaid goodbyes and a few tears to end a five-year long affair. And he wondered where it started to go out of hand. Had he noticed it right off the bat, he would have done something―anything―to possibly avoid the eventual downfall.

He believed in love. She didn't. It was the cue to the curtain call right from the get-go. The answer was right in front of his eyes before he even knew of it.
