Ali was sipping on his espresso and suddenly his glasses fell from his eyes but he had a quick reflex and adjusted them to his face ''I should change these old glasses ''. he thought to himself ''Maybe it is time to visit the doctor and get my eyes checked too''
Ali remembered the last time he bought these glasses, it should be 3 years ago, a few days after his painful divorce and a few days before leaving Cairo for Istanbul.
''Holaaaa'' Shouted Melek...not really caring if anyone will 'hola' her back, but picking a look to check if Ali is already in his office. He is always the first one to be in the office..of course, he is already there drinking coffee.
Melek is a 28 years old young woman. She has a Turkish father and a Tunisian mother. She is the presenter of the morning program from 7 am to 8 am. She reads in the newspapers of the Middle East and North Africa while giving her unfiltered opinions about the matters she is reading. Ali was against the idea but Leyla and Dina convinced him that her Twitter account is already a big success and her personality is a match for their Radio. It is called Alwan '' colors'' after all.
Dina was in the kitchen waiting for water to boil to make her tea, but she is worried because Leyla did not answer her calls or texts yesterday evening and she knew what that means.
Ali frowned when he got a message from Leyla: Good morning Ali, sorry but I can't make it to the studio today, I am very sick. I will be there for Sunday's program hopefully.
It wasn't the first time that Leyla sent this kind of message, every now and then she would claim to have the flu, the stomach flu, food poisoning. She must have visited all kinds of doctors...and despite being one of his favorites people in this world, he could not help but get angry at her.
Luckily her program was broadcasted only twice a week and her sick leave didn't always coincide with the program days.

She opened her eyes dreadfully, trying to type the perfect message to Ali, in which she will explain to him the cause of her absence but without leading on many details, she is running out of sicknesses at this point and everyone on the radio got used to her occasional absences anyways.

Ali: Take time to rest and let me know if you need anything. Dina will schedule a surprise poetry contest on air instead of your program.

Does he suspect my sickness? Did he see the pills when I forgot them last summer on the kitchen counter? I picked them up a few minutes later and he wasn't wearing his glasses that day right.
