I walked though the park slowly only just realising how beautiful it actually is with green leaves on the trees and lush green grass cut perfectly, it was all very peaceful and calming. I kept walking, not paying much attention as to where i was going until i found myself in the middle of the woods, which i never knew were here, i turned around to head back home, as i knew it would start to get dark soon, when i heard some rustling from the bushed and a faint mew. i went to investigate when i found a small tabby cat with its front paw lifted up as if it was hurting, gently i picked it up being careful not to hurt it. i noticed a thorn stuck in its paw, i carefully pulled the massive thorn out as the cat mewed in protest but after i had got it out it seemed relived. i wrapped it in my jacket at carried it out of the woods to take to the vets to find out who it belonged to and make sure nothing else was wrong with it. Once out of the woods i headed towards the nearest gate to got to the vets when out of the corner of my eye i had seen a man standing watching me, he was wearing a dark trench coat and all black even though its still quiet warm, i almost didn't spot him as it was already getting dark. i just brushed it off thinking that he may be curious as to why a 17 year old girl was carrying something wrapped in a jacket, but when i went towards the gate he started walking towards me, with the creative imagination i have i instantly thought, "im to young to die or be rapped!" I started walking faster and so did he, i went through in my mid all the things he could be, a rapist, serial killer, pedo bear, my dad, the last one made me shudder. As i walked faster and faster, so id this mysterious figure, i was nearly running now, my heart racing, i was nearly at the gate when suddenly a hand wrapped around my mouth and another around my waist dragging me away, i instinctively dropped the poor cat and tried to fight back but it was no use, this man must be a body builder cause he was extremely strong. I heard a voice calling my name, it sounded familiar, it was Matt Kingsley, the guy i met a few days ago. i tried to call out, but any sound that came out was muffled by the mans hand, so i did the only thing i could think of and bit the mans hand, hard he screamed out in pain removing his hand from my mouth " you BITCH!" he screamed, but i ignored him and screamed at the top of my lungs "MATT HELP ME!" i heard him running over to us, he was fast but not fast enough, the stranger threw me over his shoulder and ran into the woods. i was so dead.

Matts Pov

After 5 meetings and having no time for lunch id had enough i told Alice i was leaving and that i would be back tomorrow in time for my first meeting with a new client. i dont know why but i felt like going to the park, the one i met that girl at, Eve Nightshade, at the time i couldnt belive it at made an excuse and said i had a meeting, it couldnt be could it? My little sister Eve, i loved her so much, i felt so bad for leaving her but i had to, i couldnt stay there knowing what that monster would do to me, i had hoped he hadnt done it to her, but by the way she looked made me think other wise.

When i got to the park, i felt kind of sad that she wasnt there but you never know maybe she would come here again, mabye i would see her again, i kept walikng mindlessly until it started to get dark, i was about to head back when i noticed a girl with a small bundle in her arms being followed but a man, the irl was about Eves size, it couldnt be, i walked after them to see if it was Eve, maybe the person following her was the monster, but suddenly she began running the man running after her and grabbing her, she dropped the bundle and was dragged away. i ran after them calling out for her when i heard a scream and then she screamed "MATT HELP ME!" She needed me, i ran as fast as i could in direction i saw them going but then she screamed again and i heard running, i couldnt keep up, i had to stop or i would faint. I cant belive it, my little sisters been taken, and i cant stop them, i heard a car zooming past i knew it would be them but i couldn't see any cars, i sighed and headed back to find the bundle she dropped, when i got there i noticed it was something wrapped up in a jacket, i gently lifted it up and heard a mew, why did she have a cat, mums allergic to cats so we were never allowed them, i unwrapped the cat and noticed it looked too skinny and as if it had hurt its paw. i looked up and saw a vets across the road, that must be where she was heading, i carefully carried the cat over to get it checked out.

One hour later and i had called the police to say about Eve and the vets had checked the cat and found out it was a stray, they were going to put it down when i decided that i would keep it, Eve had it so i would look after it for her, they gave me some medicament to give her and said if there were any problems then to come back. on my way home in the car i stopped off and got her a bed, some dishes, food and some toys to play with when it was up to it and went home to phone my mum, i hadn't spoken to her since i was 7, but i still remembered every thing about her, her hair her eyes even the way she smelt. i asked Alice to find her number and if she could and address. she found a mobile number but no address, i phoned the number hoping it was really her. It rang 3 times before a voice i didn't know picked up, i sighed this wasn't her "Hello, Amy Nightshades phone, who is this?" i couldn't believe it this was my mums phone "Yes, hello is Amy there?" i said in my work voice "She's asleep right now who is this?" She asked i took a deep breath and said "Could you wake her up please i need to talk to her immediately, it's about Eve," i said she gasped, "who is this and why do you need to talk to Amy about her daughter?" i waited a moment and then said "please just wake her and tell her its her son, Darren"
