June 2016...

"Here she comes!" I hear Natalie's voice across the hall standing next to my cousin Melanie. What could she possibly be yelling my name for?

"Did I miss something?" I asked walking up to them looking confused. Natalie and Melanie start giggling. Okay? I wonder what's so damn funny.

"So what did I miss?" I ask them two trying to figure out what's going on.

"Well... you already know how Edwin and I have been talking lately right?" Melanie says.

"Yeah and?" I ask. "He finally asked me out an hour ago." I stand there shocked out of my mind. "That's great, Melanie!" I shout out with excitement.

"I know right? I still can't believe that he asked me out" Melanie says as she stands there with her cheeks all pink. " I guess he just finally had the balls" I say chuckling. I've known for so long that she's been crushing on him for years now but she was just always just shy to ask him out.

"So when is the big date?" Natalie asks. "It's tomorrow night, he said he's picking me up at 9. I need you both to help me choose my outfit" she demands.

"Don't worry cousin. We're going to dress you so hot that he can't take his eyes off you"

A few hours later...

"Ryan... we should slow down" I say struggling to breathe because of his mouth on mine.

"I don't think we should"

"Ryan, I don't want to!" I shout at him as he continues to kiss me. "Oh come on babe. Don't do this to me" he says.

"Ryan stop it!" I push him off with force.

"Come on babe, we've been dating for months now. Yet you still don't wanna do anything further than just
make out. It's boring"

"I know that, but I'm still not ready yet" I say truthfully. It's ok to wait until you think you're ready. But it's like he just doesn't understand which honestly bothers the heck out of me.

"Will you ever be?" he rolls his eyes.

"Of course, I will it's just that right now just isn't the time and the place. We're still at school"

"Anyway, I have to go now. Mel and Nat are waiting for me"

"I'll call you later. I promise" I say kissing him goodbye.

Moments later...

As me, Melanie, and Natalie walk outside of school Melanie stops in her tracks and stands there in fear. When I'm about to ask what's wrong she just says, "Oh no! There he is" In a fearful voice.

"And with his jerk cousin too" I say with an annoyed tone of voice.

"Why do you dislike him so much?" She asks looking at me with curiosity.

I just stare back at her and take a moment in silence before answering. "What do you think?" I ask giving her serious look. "It's because of the way that he behaves" I say while looking at both Cain and Daniel.

They piss me the fuck off. "You're overreacting, he only behaves that way because he likes you" But the thing is that you don't consider ever giving the poor guy a chance" Melanie says and stands with her arms crossed.

"Are you being serious right now?" I asked rolling my eyes. "How the hell do you expect me to give him a chance when I've already got a boyfriend? You only want me to hook up with him because you like his
cousin." I say angrily. To be honest, even if I didn't have Ryan as my boyfriend, I want nothing to do with Cain, he's such a douche.

"Is it a bad thing? Then the four of us would hang
out together" Does she not understand that I don't like him? How many times do I have to tell her?

Let me just introduce Cain Prince right quick and I'll let you decide if you like him.

He was the typical bad boy. As I said already, he was a player. He was rude sometimes, and he was someone who didn't care about anybody but himself. He was always trying to get my attention ALL THE TIME. Even though I already had a boyfriend at the time, it's not like he cared. He only cared about what he wanted and at that time, he wanted me. However, I couldn't stand that guy. Yeah, he had the looks and all, but his behaviour disgusted me sometimes.

And then there's Edwin, he was Cain's cousin from his dad's side and he was also the guy I said Melanie liked.

And last but not least we have Daniel. Cain's other cousin from his mom's side. At that time, Daniel and I didn't know each other very well. But as time went by, he and I became closer "friends"

And what happened after that, you'll find that out later on...
