Kylie's pov

A month had passed by since that night and Cain and I would still have our ups and downs. We would argue about the smallest things.

And sometimes, he would argue with me over nothing. It was like he just wanted to have a reason to get mad at me, which didn't make any sense to me. But in the end, we always made up and pretended as if nothing had happened.

We didn't argue for two weeks now and I was hoping that maybe things were finally starting to calm down between us...

"I had so much fun today, thank you, babe," I tell Cain while drying my hair with my towel.

Cain and I just finished our beach day today and it was so much fun. We buggy-boarded, we were snorkelling, and he even gave me a few pointers on swimming. It was the most fun I've had in a while.

"I'm glad you enjoyed our day so far" he smiles. "But the day isn't over just yet"

"What do you mean?" I ask in confusion.

"I've booked a room for us tonight at Gothia Towers," he says excitedly.

"You what!" I jump back in shock. Gothic towers are like one of the most luxurious hotels in our city. "Are you serious?" I ask him to clarify what I heard.

"Dead serious" He nods his head.

OMG. "Ahh, I'm so excited! Thank you, baby. You're the best." I jump up and down as he chuckles watching me.

He then wraps his arms around me and then I snuggle into his neck taking in the scent of the ocean water still dripping on him. I pull away and look up at him "I love you" I say then kiss him.

I was so happy the two of us were going to be staying at this luxury hotel and I thought it would be one of the most romantic nights ever. But I think bad luck followed me because this night turned into a disaster...

After Cain got us checked into the room Cain booked for us, we take the elevator after we get off and get to the room, he uses the key and opens the door and I am so shocked.

"Do you like the view?" He asks.

"The view is so amazing, babe," I respond with excitement.

"Good. Now go and get changed we're having dinner"

Everything was so perfect that night we had dinner, maybe a little too perfect.

I wish that we could have stayed like this forever. But unfortunately, that was just a wish.

That never came true of course.
