A Toxic Relationship

Kylie's pov

Tonight me and Natalie are going to another club. I know that I shouldn't because of what had happened the last few times. I just hope that tonight actually goes smoothly.

I sit at my vanity and start doing a more natural like makeup look.

The second I finish putting on my dress, I get a text from Natalie saying that she's outside. I take my wallet and my keys and put them in my purse heading down stairs out the door.

I get inside of her car and we both say hey and hug each other before heading off. The whole ride there was just her telling me what's been going on with her.

After the insanely long drive, we walk inside. "We're gonna have so much fun tonight" she turn to me excitedly. "Yeah, and I'm going to forget all about Cain," I confidently say.

"That's my girl" she laughs.

I look around and then I spot familiar faces. "Oh, look! There are Edwin and Daniel. Let's go say hi" I shout over the loud music.

She turns to me and nods.

We walk up to them and then Daniel finally sees us. "Kylie..." he says.

"Hi, guys" I wave and they awkwardly wave back.

"Where's Melanie?" I ask them.

"She's at home. I'm going to see her later tonight" Edwin answers.

"Oh okay. Tell her I said hi" I say.

"How are you doing?" Edwin asks.

"I'm good" I respond. I didn't want them to feel sorry for me so, of course, I had to lie and pretend I was fine.

But then he brings up the name I didn't want to hear tonight.

"Have you talked to Cain yet?"

"No! There's nothing for us to talk about anymore" I immediately say. I came here to not think about him. I don't need his name being brought up now.

"You just have to give him some time. I'm sure everything will be okay between you two again"

"Whatever" I roll my eyes. "I didn't come here to talk
about Kian, so if you'll excuse me" I say and walk to the bar with Natalie.

"Are you okay?" she asks.

"I'm fine, Natalie!" I turn to her and cross my arms. I know I shouldn't have yelled but I'm so fucking frustrated with everything that's been going on. But as I'm about to open my mouth to apologize, her phone starts to ring.

She takes her phone out of her purse to see who it is. "Sorry, it's my mom" she tells me.

"Its okay. I'll wait here in the meantime" I say.

"I'll be right back" she says then walks to the bathroom since it seems to be the quietest place here.

I just wanted to forget about Cain for a moment, but everywhere Iwent I needed to be reminded of him. It was so damn frustrating and I didn't know what to do about it.

I start to stomp my feet in anger but while I am Daniel comes up to me.

"Wow are you okay?" he asks. Why does everyone keep asking me that same question? it's getting on my nerves now.

"I'm fine! Why does everyone need to ask me that all the damn time?!" I snap.

He looks down before answering. "Okay, I'm sorry. I won't ask again."

"Thank you!" I say.

"Now let me buy you something to drink" he offers.

"Oh, it's okay. You don't have to do that" I tell him.

"I want to"

My cheeks flush.

"So tell me, what kind of drink would you like?"

Later on...

Me and Natalie are on the dance floor swaying our hips to the upbeat music. As I was dancing with her, I suddenly felt a body behind me. And when I turned around to see who it was, I was surprised.
