Makaia was home with her parents and she was really bored she missed her sisters at least her siblings would play dress up or play cars with her Kiki went downstairs and into the backyard and went to Normani's treehouse that's been there since Mani was 5 years old she was up there playing cars she went back inside went to her room grabbed a pillow, blankets and her favorite stuffed unicorn Normani gave her and Makaia named her unicorn cotton candy.

You maybe wondering why did she choose cotton candy and not gumball well when Kiki was younger she would always reach out for cotton candy even tho she wasn't old enough to eat it she would still reach for it when she turned two that's when Mani bought her the stuffed unicorn and named it cotton candy but it wasn't perfect at first but got the hang of it at three. Makaia is going to be sleeping inside the treehouse since it has windows and a bedroom her and her sisters have went to sleep in the treehouse before so she's fine with it she's got everything she needs in there a mini fridge with food her tablet to watch tv and a fan to sleep and she can tint the windows to sleep peacefully as she was setting up her space to lay down Mani face timed her on her tablet.
Phone conversation Kiki and Mani
Mani: Hey Kiki what you doing bug.
Kiki: Nothing sissy just in the treehouse.
Mani:Why you in the treehouse for bug.
Kiki: Because I miss you and Sammie and I don't want to be with dad.
Mani: Ok stay there and I'll come get you alright.
Kiki: Wait really your going to come get me.
Mani: Yes bug just stay in the treehouse.
Kiki: Ok bye sis.

Mani left Megan's house and went back to hers too grab her little sister because Makaia missed her sisters Normani already told Megan and Megan said she doesn't mind she loves little kids so Normani thought when she gets Makaia she's thinking about ordering them some dinner from IHOP Mani made it to her house and in the backyard she climbed up to the treehouse and knocked on the door to let Kiki know that she was there for her.
Mani I've missed you Kiki whispered I've missed you too bug now grab your things and let's go while dad is still inside not looking for you Mani said helping her sister pack her things up again luckily there was a backpack in the treehouse for them to put Kiki's things in her bag Alright you ready to go Mani asked yes let's go please Makaia said.
They both climbed down the ladder from the treehouse and exited out the gate of the house and walked back to Megan's house on the way there Kiki asked a question Mani I have something to ask Kiki said what is it bug Mani says umm... do you like Megan as a friend or something Kiki asked they where at Megan's doorstep they sat there and Mani answered her questions truthfully.
I don't like her I love her we haven't known each other forever but she just makes me feel happy and she understands my pain that I went through even tho she didn't go through it herself she makes me smile on my worst days she's like my personal sunshine on my rainy days like a drug I can take without being sick as Normani continued on telling Kiki how much Megan makes her feel she doesn't know that she's on the other side of the door listening it melts Megan's heart that she's making Mani feel better then what she did before they meet.
See Normani wasn't really the type of person to tell people all her emotions she was the type to bottle them up and push them away before her mom passed she was the most outgoing little girl you've ever seen always had friends over played with everyone and loved everybody but after her mama passed she was more distant didn't want anyone around her stayed to herself she didn't care about anyone but her mama.
Her mom was her best friend took care of her all the time her mom worked as a pediatrician and everyone loved Andrea people tried to be there for Normani when she lost her mama but she pushed everyone away except for her brother Elijah and Ryan she needed them to keep her calm even though Elijah couldn't always be there for Normani Ryan was always there no matter what she needed as Mani healed slowly she started to care for people but not everyone just the friends she had until one of them ruined it for the whole friend group and said the most stupidest shit in the world and from that day forward she never trusted anyone but Ryan until she met Megan.
