Megan's pov
Normani and I just got back home from the hospital man it was hell of a day Mani had to drop me off at the house so she can go get my medicine and I know me and Normani haven't been together that long but I swear I hate when she leaves because I be missing her like crazy she really the sweetest girl ever I love her so much she has really been so careful with my heart there have been days where I haven't been myself and Mani would notice she wouldn't really ask questions she would just grab me and pull me close to her and kiss my forehead or if I would be crying she would wipe my tears away and say don't let them tears ruin your gorgeous face and oh when I tell you my heart melts so much when she tells me that.
Normani's Pov
I just dropped my baby off at home and I'm on my way to go get her medicine and she doesn't know that I'm finna go pick up some of my best friends cooking Megan loves Ry Ry's cooking first time she had Ry Ry's cooking was when I asked Ry Ry to bring me sum to eat because Megan wasn't home and I wasn't in the mood to cook anything so I asked her to bring me food.
I finally made it to the store to get my baby some medicine and some random nigga walked up to me and i thought to myself here we go again

"Hey lil mama you single" said the stranger
"Nope" Mani said popping the p
"Maybe we should go out sometime to the movies or something" the guy asked
"I thought I just told you no way please leave me alone" Mani stated
"Well I'm not taking no for an answer" the guy said
"Maybe you should go mind your business and watch your back too" Normani said
The guy walked away but he wasn't going to give up on trying to shoot his shot at Normani so he decided to follow her which was a bad idea because Normani's other best Lauren was also at the store she seen him following Normani so she grabbed him and gave him a warning
"Next I catch you following my bestie around there will be a whole bunch of missing signs with your face on them try me" Lauren said
The guy ran out the store and he didn't even look back he looked really scared after Lauren said what she said because when it comes down to her bestie she doesn't play games she is so protective of her because she's seen it all everything Normani went through Lauren, Normani and Ry Ry have always been the most inseparable trio since diapers they were their for Normani when her momma died
"Hi I'm here to pick up an order for Megan Pete" Normani said
"Oh yes her medicine will be ready in 4 minutes we will call when it's ready" the pharmacy man said
"Ok thank you" Normani said walking away
Well since I'm here I might just get some snacks while I'm waiting for her medicine while I'm looking around my phone buzzes I take my phone out my pocket and seen I got a message from my baby girl
iMessages from Normani's phone
My princess 👑: Bae when are you coming back I miss you plus I want some chips
Mani: I'll be home in 4 minutes baby girl I'm still waiting on you medicine and I'm getting snacks right now
My princess 👑: Make sure you get me hot Cheetos and pickles please
Mani: I know baby I got you just know I've got whatever snack you want and healthy snacks too
My princess 👑: Yay you are the best ever ❤️ anyways bye baby I love you
Mani: Bye pretty girl I love you too 🥰
After a few minutes of shopping they finally called Megan's name for the medicine Normani walked back to the pharmacy area and picked up the prescription once she got it she went to the register to buy her groceries on her way to the register she runs into Lauren
"Oh hey Jauregui how you been?"Normani said to Lauren
"I've been doing good Kordei" Lauren replied with a small laugh
"I know you seen that guy following me and I know you said something to him"
"Whaaat no I didn't Mani your funny" Lauren said confused knowing it was true
"Lolo you don't have to lie I seen your dark hair" Normani stated
"Yeah you are right I did see him messing with you but Mani you know ima always protect you after all your stupid ex's you had" Lauren stated
" I know Lolo but you can't keep scaring people off I had it and maybe tomorrow you should come over for dinner" Mani said
"Yeah I can do that and Mani he was following you around the store" Lauren stated
"I guess you right Lolo I know you tryna watch out for me and I thank you for that too" Mani replied
"You're welcome ManiBear I love you girly" Lauren said reaching out to hug Normani
" I love you more Lolo" Normani said hugging Lauren back
Both Normani and Lauren exited the store and headed their separate ways before Mani went home she stopped at Starbucks to grab two drinks the drinks were ready when she got there because she ordered them while she was talking to Lauren she was only a minute away from home she finally made it home and walked through the doors
"Pretty girl I'm home and I brought Starbucks" Normani said from downstairs
"I'm coming baby give me a second don't come upstairs yet" Megan stated
"What is she up to she's so sneaky sometimes" Mani said smiling to herself
Mani sat on the couch drinking her Starbucks and waited for Megan to finish what she was doing
"Finished" Megan said
