Erica's Pov

I think I'm gonna text Normani she hasn't been home in a while I mean yeah she's 17 shes independent and her own boss but I'm worried that she might never come home because of her dad I'm just gonna check on her I'm not gonna force her to come back home either

Erica and Normani

2nd mom 🤍: Hey Mani I'm just checking on you it's been a while since you've been home are you ok

I put my phone down and waited for her to text back it took a while but I finally got a message back

Mani❤️: Hey Erica I'm fine sorry we haven't been home in a while but I'm happy where I'm at 

2nd mom🤍: Where are y'all if you don't mind me asking?

Mani❤️: I would love to tell you but if I tell you, you might tell my dad and then he'll go crazy and come up here and get us and take us away we are happy here

2nd mom🤍: Mani you know I would never do that ever I care about you and your sisters safety

Mani❤️: I know you do and so do I but I can't tell you where I'm at for this person's safety

2nd mom🤍: Well can you at least tell me who they are

Mani❤️: It's a "friend" that moved here a 2 months ago and we met at the park I wasn't by myself I was with Ry Ry 

2nd mom🤍: Ok Mani as long as you and your sisters are safe then you can stay there with your "friend" and hopefully one day I can meet them too tell Sammie and Kiki I said hello and I love them and I love you too Mani

Mani❤️: Ok Erica I will and yes you can meet them when they're ready to and I love you too

As I put my phone down I sighed in relief knowing that all three of my girls are safe and happy together I love them so much but I just wish Derrick wasn't so hard on Normani for being Lesbian I mean she's not the only Lesbian child so is Sammie I figured it out on my own when she refused to wear dresses, skirts and high heels she never really cared for girly clothes or she loved cars, dinosaurs and action figures but when she had Barbies they were all girls

I remember I walked into Sammies room and she had her Barbies making out with the clothes off I thought it was strange at first but I caught on afterwards especially when she was kissing her poster of Rihanna

"Hey honey what are you thinking about" Derrick asks

"Nothing I'm just thinking" Erica responded

"Have you heard from Sammie or Ryan" Derrick asked

"Nope nothing but wherever they are I hope they are safe and happy" Erica stated

"But they have been gone for almost a month now shouldn't we go find them" Derrick asked

"No Derrick just except that they will come home when they're ready you can't force them" Erica replied

"Samantha is 15 and Makaia is 4 in a half" Derrick stated

"What about Normani huh you always forget about her just because she's a lesbian get it through your head Derrick she loves you and she's been your little girl since she first came into the world but you threw her away because of her sexuality" Erica said while picking up her phone leaving the living room going into Normani's room

Derrick sat in the living room thinking to himself that Erica is right Normani loves him and that when she told him her sexuality he turned her away like that wasn't his first baby girl Derrick feels guilty but not for long because he knows what's right and what's wrong and Normani being gay was extremely wrong in his house

Megan's house

Everyone is upstairs Megan and Normani was downstairs in the movie theater room all cuddled up in the chair that looked like a bed watching The Nightmare Before Christmas it was like around after lunch that Mani and Meg decided to watch a movie alone together while everyone else went upstairs to take a nap Mani was laying in Meg's lap and Mani started drifting off to sleep as Meg was watching the movie she looked down at her lap to check on Mani to see if she was still awake but when she seen that she was asleep she cut the movie off.

Megan laid down pulled Mani up to her chest and covered them with two blankets as Meg was laying down she ran her fingers through Mani's hair and smiled to herself realizing that this is already a great start to an amazing relationship and that she cares so very much about Mani, Meg finally went to sleep she wrapped her arms around Mani to hold her close and never let go

7:15 pm

"Mani, Mani oh my gosh where the hell are you" Ryan said looking for her bestie

Ryan went down to the movies theater room and found Mani and Meg sleeping Ry didn't want to wake Mani up but she's got something to tell Mani Ry walked over to Mani and tapped her to try and wake her up Mani turned her head to face the other side of the chair bed

"Ry what are you doing" Meg whispered

"I'm tryna wake up Mani I gotta tell her something" Ry whispered

"Oh ok I know how to get her up" Meg stated

"Mani we have crab legs" Meg said

Normani woke right up out of her sleep and looked at Ry and looked at Meg and said "see now I know y'all lyin y'all messed up I was sleeping good asfk and wanna lie about some crab legs" Mani said upset

"Sorry baby but if it'll make it any better we will actually get some crab legs" Megan said

"Yeah much better" Mani replied

"Umm sorry to interrupt this moment but Mani your dad texted me looking for you and I told him that we are out of town in Houston with a friend and he said that he's going to fly to Houston and ask why you and your sisters aren't home yet" Ryan stated

"So now that means all of us have to fly to Houston because of a lie" Mani said

"Yeah kinda sorta but I didn't know what to say Mani I just panicked" Ryan said

"Ry you are so lucky I have people that live in Houston I'm pretty sure Lauren won't mind us coming down plus I kinda miss Houston" Mani stated

"Everyone pack your bags and let's get ready to leave for Houston" Ryan said

Everyone packed their bags Megan got her private jet ready for them to fly out to Houston today
