It was a Saturday noon, me and Haru were making our way to the public library as usual. I intend to introduce Haru to Kisaki since I realized why he became a villain that was obsessed with Hina is that she was his only friend though he mistook friendship for something romantic.

Haru is the perfect person to introduce first because if it was Keisuke or Manjiro, I'm sure they'd pick on him by calling him a nerd. Although it doesn't affect me, it won't be the same for others.

"So you made friends with the other smart kid you competed with?" He asked and I only nodded.

I looked at him and noticed that he was slightly pouting.

"Are you jealous?" I asked while he quickly denied it and walked ahead.

I just sighed and entered the library. The librarian greeted and congratulated me since she saw the competition on tv.

Haru was waiting for me after chatting with the librarian for a bit.

Walking further inside, I saw Kisaki already sitting in the far corner with a stack of books.

"Is that him?" Haru whispered and I nodded before taking his hand and pulling him along.

"That's quite the selection." I said, making our presence known to Kisaki.

I introduced Haru and he introduced himself, still, he was as timid as I met him.

I just really hope that what I'm doing is right.

"I'm going to find more books that would be easier for you two to read." Michi said and left me and Kisaki alone.

I cleared my throat, gaining his attention. Unlike Michi, he's quite introverted.

"I watched the show last time and you're really amazing too. I never knew someone can compete with Michi." I said

"T-Thanks but I don't think she was challenged when we were having the quiz. It was hard for me to catch up to her in answering the last question." He said as he lightly scratched his cheek.

"She's Michi after all. Whenever I visit her to play with the others, she's always reading or doing something unordinary." I said and leaned back in the chair.

"What do you mean unordinary?" He asked with interest.

"She said it's an experiment or something. She wants to make something that would make her taller." I said.
