At Kuta. 📍

We all know that weekends are the only rest days a normal student gets to spend for themselves. But not for Shun and Janno. Since they are transferees, also late comers of the said school, they have to take catch-up classes and subjects. They don't have to take everything at once, though. But if they want to keep up with students their age and attend the graduation next year as seniors, (Like Seiji, Junji and the rest of the gang whom they have never met, yet) they must take all of it.

Kakatapos lang nila sa Basic Concepts of Film Making subject nila, now they are down to their last subject for today which is the Stage Craft and Design. Nagsilabasan na ang ilang hindi nagtatake n'un kasabay naman ng pagpasok ng mga panibagong mukha at ng kanilang prof sa nasabing subject.

"Hindi pa ba tayo magdi-ditch ng class?" Janno asks, giving Shun a pleading look.

"Seryoso ka ba? Last subject na nga diba?!" Hindi s'ya tiningnan nito at busy sa pag-oorganize ng mga notes n'ya sa kan'yang laptop.

"Kailan kapa naging masipag mag-aral? Tss." Nilabas n'ya nalamang muli ang kan'yang phone, "Ang dami kasi nating tina-take, information overload sobra!" Bumuntong hininga s'ya. "Pwede bawasan natin? Tapos next next year na lang tayo grumaduate?"

Shun finally looks at him, "Tanga ka ba? Sayang opportunities, sayang 'yong taon."

"Okay, okay! TSS." he just says defeatedly, And just secretly scrolls on his phone even though the class is not starting yet.

Shun on the other hand looks to his right, "Taki, nakuha mo ba 'yong last slide kanina? Eto kasing si Janno nagchachat eh, 'di ko tuloy nakita." Yes, they meet new friends. They are Taki and Andy (who is sitting beside Taki), basically their catch-up classmates. Shun asks them why they are taking catch-up classes with them eh, hindi naman sila bago, sabi lang nila hindi kasi nila ina-attendan kapag weekdays kaya ni-required sa kanila bago pa sila bumagsak, and both of them had just got out of the hospital. They were part of Ballare before they got injured during last event's performance. Makukulit din at kalog kaya mabilis nilang nakasundo.

"Napicturan ko. Send ko nalang mamaya sa'yo." Taki says smiling.

"Yown! Thank you, thank you!" smiling back, Shun replies.

"Oh! Ginagawa nito dito?" Napatingin si Shun ng marinig n'ya itong si Taki na mag salita at nakatingin sa may pintuan, sinundan n'ya ito ng tingin.

"Nero!" Andy calls him. Nero gave them a quick smile and a nod. Shun wonders. He seems familiar? Where did I see that face? He just shrugs at his own thoughts and just continues arranging his notes.

"Nero, mah boy!" Andy greets him. Doing their usual handshake, "What are you doing here?"

"I'm also taking this class." Tipid na sagot nito. Taki and Andy looks so surprised but happy at the same time.

"Inang yan erp? Bakit? Nagbubulakbol ka narin ba?" taki asks, poking his shoulder.

"Of course not, I just dropped it last sem kasi alam kong mabu-busy ako with other things. Where can I sit?" Nero scans the room and his eyes accidentally lands on the new faces. Shun feels someone is looking at him so he looks back. It is awkward at first, but when Nero nods and smiles at him before breaking eye contact, he kind of smiles back.
