"Which version do you prefer Mr. Goo?" one of the whispering girls from earlier spoke up.
"Uhhh..." Keva paused, as if he had to think about his answer.
Because the entire class was crowded in front of the painting, Tash and Keva were pushed quite close to each other. He lifted his eyes only a little to look at the painting. The class, still waiting for a response, followed his eyes and waited in anticipation.
Tash brushed his wrist with her hand. She wrapped her fingers around his wrist and caressed it. Lightly pressing on that single cherry blossom that lived there.
Keva turned his eyes directly at the girl that asked. "I prefer to think of the two lovers that inspired so many artists to pen stories on the subject of their love. What version of their story you prefer is irrelevant in the face of their love. Although I think the artist of this painting took to Marlowe's unfinished tale because of the way the paint fades lighter and lighter and eventually whitens out on the canvas."
If the girls were whispering about him before, they probably wanted to scream right now.
Tash had never seen him in the element of his work before. She would kiss him on the mouth right now if she wasn't so distracted with trying to pry off his grip that had encompassed her hand, before anyone noticed. Boldness comes and then it overtakes.
Suddenly, everyone had questions. Tash quietly trailed off to the back with Ren. She needed his opinion of just what this thing was. The two of them hooked hands and walked around the rest of the museum not trying to figure out the art but what the artists must look like based on their work.
Laughs at a higher decibel that seems appropriate for a museum emerged from a corner. Keva followed the sound hoping to find out what in his museum was so funny, when he found Tash and Ren, hands hooked, sniggering at the vase.
He didn't know what offended him more. That she had the guts to come into his place and hook hands with another man or that they were both laughing at his favorite piece.
He was going over there to find out.
Suddenly, Keva felt himself being dragged away by his shirt. He was dragged right past Tash and Ren, who looked at him questioningly, as one would someone being dragged off. He was pulled into his office which was at the back, right next to the vase.
Laryn closed the door behind them as she led Keva into his office.

Just like that two hours had passed by. It was time to head back to campus. No one was sure whether or not they actually learned anything or found anything that they could use for their final essay. Everybody was only glad that they didn't have to sit in class for a three hour lecture and discussion on the Renaissance period.
"The bus will be headed back to campus so anyone that needs to go back to campus can. If you don't have to and can leave from here you are also free to do so." Professor Laryn informed the class. "The bus will leave in 5 minutes. Please prepare yourselves."
Tash indicated to Ren that she needed to use the washroom and ran off quickly.
The door opened just behind her and just before she could turn around to see who it was, she was pinned to the wall.
"Having fun?"
"What the hell are you doing?"
"Is that how you two are in class? Holding hands and giggling?"
Tash rolled her eyes. "I have to pee."
"Don't go back to campus. Stay. I'll take you home."
"Stay? Should we go into your office and close the door behind us?"
