Chapter 3: Family

"How was the twins house?" Elias asked when I walked into the door.

"Soooo fun! First everyone was afraid to go to sleep because they always mess with us but we didn't think they would because Chelsea fell asleep early so we all went to sleep. When we woke up Rose had loser written on her forehead! But that's about it I guess they ran out of ideas" I laughed.

"Wow sounds fun" Elias smiled.

"Yeah you know they like you why don't you ever come and hang out with us?" I asked.

"I never want to impose" Elias shrugged.

"Well next time you have to come over. OH MY GOD guess what!?" I yelled.

Elias laughed "What?"

"We watched that new movie Ghost In The Mist! I'm hiding behind you in the morning!" I laughed.

"Awesome I wanted to see that how was it?" He asked. I shook saying it was bone chilling. Elias laughed.

"Well mom is about to wake up so if you don't want to hear her talk about school I would go up stairs until she leaves for work" Elias warned me. This is why I love him.

"Thanks!" I smiled taking my bags and walking up stairs.

"Oh your home" Adria sneered. I ignored her walking into my room. I decided the best thing was to take a shower. Once again I'm happy I have my own bathroom. I'm surprised my mom didn't tell me I should get used to sharing a bathroom like they do in College. I swear if I hear another thing about college I'm going to scream!

When I was done in the shower I decided to hop on the computer see if my friends were on. Rose and Ryan were on. I talked to them for a little till I got bored. I'm sure my mom is at work.

I walked down the stairs my mom was gone but Adria and my dad were sitting on the couch. I wonder what would happen if I sat with them. I decided to try it and sat down on the couch beside the one they were sitting on.

"Ew what do you think you're doing?" Adria growled.

"Adria be nice to Elias" My dad said behind reading a newspaper. Of course the jobs section was face down on the table. I wanted to snap out I felt it in me. I just wanted to scream at my dad so what I'm not your daughter I'm alive I'm your wives daughter why can't you love me! But like always I bit my tongue and ignored it. I smiled at the TV.

"What are you watching?" I asked. Adria didn't say anything just huffed then turned back to the TV. Once again I wanted to lash out.

"Hey guys" Elias smiled sitting next to me.

"Hey Elias" Both my dad and Adria said. Wow don't I fee loved at least I have Elias I wouldn't know what to do without him.

"What are you watching?" He asked me. I shrugged.

"Something I don't know I just turned on the TV" Adria smiled. Oh my god!

I don't understand this! Please someone help me! I don't understand how my dad can't see me! I walk around the house ALL the time! Sometimes he even looks at me! Why doesn't he ever say hi to me!? Adria why does she hate me! I never did anything to her! I just sat there when really I wanted to scream in their faces.

"No work today" My mom busted threw the door. I sunk deeper into the couch. "Oh hi Scarlett how was studying at Rose's?" My mom asked sitting next to Adria and her husband.

"Fine" I went to get up to go to my room but Elias pulled me back down.

"That's good" My mom smiled. "You know you and Scarlett should hang out more"
