"Ah, summer! I love summer!" Red said as she lay on the sofa of their home. "I can just laze around all day enjoying the warmth."

"Do you want to go somewhere, Red?" Aunt Faith asked.

"I want to go to Hawaii. The waves there are amazing," she said.

"Dito lang muna tayo sa Pilipinas. Papa can't travel yet," said Aunt Faith. "Or do you want to go to Hawaii with your friends?"

"Really?" Red sat up from the sofa. "But, they might not want to."

"Why?"

"They might try to pay for the fees, and of course it'll be our shout but..."

Aunt Faith smiled and sat next to Red, "It's good that you consider their feelings. At nagbibiro lang naman ako."

Red frowned at Aunt Faith and she just laughed, "Well, your parents have to work, and I have to take care of Papa. You're free to do whatever you want."

"Really? You won't scold me if I ever try to go somewhere far away?" Red asked.

"It's summer, and you have all of our permission. Just, you know, let us know," Aunt Faith shrugged. She went upstairs to do some paperwork and Red laid back on the sofa, trying to think what she wanted to do.

She grinned excitedly and she opened her phone. When it comes to summer, there's only one thing to do. She opened her group chat with Luxus and the others. This group chat was separate from their band group chat.

RED: Hey guys

Ysabelle was the first one to reply.

YSABELLE: What's up?

RED: Do you have plans this weekend?

YSABELLE: Wala naman

LUXUS: Why do you ask?

ORANGE: Didn't you plan to go swimming w/ your fam this weekend?

Red smiled and typed excitedly as she explained her situation.

RED: So you see... Turns out, my oldies have to take care of Poppy bc he can't go anywhere in this heat. And Aunt Faith doesn't like going out if it's hot so I was given permission to do whatever I want.

ORANGE: And you want us to join you?

RED: Yea.

ORANGE: Hang on, punta ako diyan.

Red was surprised. Orange already knows where she lives but this is the first time she's coming to visit her.

Her phone vibrated and a new message popped up.

ORANGE: Austin samahan mo ko

AUSTIN: Huh? Nagbabasa ako. Magcommute ka na lang

ORANGE: Do you want me to die from this heat? Pakisundo ako please?

AUSTIN: Fine, but only if you treat me food

ORANGE: Pupunta tayo sa bahay ni Red

AUSTIN: In that case magsh-share ka sa bayad ng gas dahil malayo sakin bahay ni Red

ORANGE: Yea yea yea

Red blinked as she read the conversation. They're really going to her house, huh? She wonders at the back of her mind if Luxus was going to come with them. Realizing that guests were coming over, Red quickly got up to her feet and prepared snacks for when the two arrived.
