ELLIE's POINT OF VIEW
Belle and I were waiting for Kuya Harry to park his car when Sherry approached us. She had a serious look on her face.
"Hey Ellie," she said, staring directly in my eyes.
"Oh, hey Sherry!" Belle greeted, smiling at her. Sherry gave her a smile.
"Hey," I greeted back.
"Hey Ysa," she said and turned to me. "I need to talk to you."
"Why?" I asked. She was giving me the look that I should just follow her.
"Basta," she said and grabbed my arm.
"May I borrow Ellie for just a moment?" she said to Belle. Belle nodded.
"Sure!" she said. I looked at her and she looked back. "We'll wait for you here."
Now I have no choice but to follow her even though I don't want to talk to her right now. I'm still in a really bad mood.
"Alright," I sighed and let Sherry drag me to a corner. When we got there she let go of my arm and crossed her arms at me. I knew then something was wrong. I knew then that she knew what happened.
"Anything important?" I asked.
"I saw you," she said.
"Where?" I asked, feigning ignorance.
"Kanina sa cafeteria. I saw you."
"Oh... And?"
"What you did was extremely unnecessary. You know, Ysabelle left as soon as you did."
I couldn't help but smile and I scoffed, "Good. That'll stop him from being a prat."
"No, you don't understand. You're not just hurting one person, you're also hurting your sister," she said. I raised my brow and crossed my arms.
"I don't think you're in the position to tell me who's hurting who."
Sherry sighed, "Look, I'm not here to fight you. I'm here to tell you that you should just confront him. Tell him the truth."
I scoffed, "Say that to yourself."
Sherry gave me a look that said I was wrong. Well I don't fucking care.
"Ellie, our situations are different."
"Look, unless you can take your own advice and fix your own problem, you can't say shit about mine," I snapped, frowning. She stared at me for a few seconds before sighing.
"I'm only worried about you," she said. I rolled my eyes.
"I'd say I'm elated but I simply do not care at the moment."
"Ellie—"
"This conversation is over, Sherry," I said, cutting her off before she could say anything else.
"I'm incredibly vexed and not in the mood. That and Austin's already here so I'll be taking my leave," I said looking behind her where Austin and the others were walking out.
"See you tomorrow," and I left without looking back. I went back to Belle and we both went home with Kuya Harry. The ride home was quiet, and I could feel Belle's eyes on me. When we got home, we immediately went inside the house. Our parents are currently away taking care of the preparations for the wedding.
