"The best way to find out if you can trust somebody is to trust them."

RED's POINT OF VIEW
I woke up to the sound of the doorbell ringing. I was going to ignore it but then I heard Aunt Faith screaming my name, and the doorbell was getting annoying so I got up from my bed and with half open eyes, I opened the door.
"Good morning, Red."
My eyes widened when I saw Sherry, Austin, and Orange. I hugged them immediately and they laughed while Austin stepped away and made sure the three of us didn't fall. He mostly protected Sherry, though.
"Why the hell are you guys here?" I asked, a big smile on my face. It's been a while since I've seen them.
"Well, we have free time today, midterms week is over and tomorrow's the welcoming party so we thought you'd like to hang out with us," Orange said.
I was planning to sleep 'till afternoon but now that they're here I get to go out.
"Come in first, I'll go get ready," I said and pulled them inside my house. They sat down on the sofa and I went to the third floor where my room is and got ready. I quickly took a bath and wore a tank top and shorts. I put chapstick on my lips and tied my hair in a bun before grabbing my baguette bag that Mom bought me for my birthday last year and went downstairs.
I found the three of them munching on TimTams while watching TV.
"I'm ready," I announced. They all looked at me, Orange's mouth was full of chocolate and it made me chuckle.
"Saglit lang," she said in a muffled tone as she was still eating.
"Alright, I'll wait," I said and sat down.
"Saan kayo pupunta?" Aunt Faith asked who I didn't notice was working on the dining table while eating breakfast.
"Sa amusement park po sa malapit, 'Ta," Austin said. Aunt Faith nods her head.
"Sige, basta 'wag magpagabi, okay?" she said. We all collectively said 'okay' and after Orange was done eating we headed out.
"Asaan pala si Lolo Isko?" Sherry asked as we rode Austin's car. She was sitting on the passenger's seat while Orange and I got comfortable in the back.
"Hospital," I said. "The usual check-up."
"Bakit hindi siya sinamahan ni Tita? Diba wala dito ang parents mo?" she said.
"Poppy didn't want to be accompanied. I was actually supposed to be accompanying him but he said that I should rest. Aunt Faith got mad at him and lectured him before she eventually let him leave on his own," I explained.
"I see."
My oldies are out of the country. They had another job in Europe. I don't remember if they said in Italy or Germany, but they said they'll bring back chocolates. They were also planning on going back to Oz for a while so our house doesn't get too dirty while we're gone. Well, it'll be a nice vacation for them.
"You haven't been to the amusement park diba, Red?" Orange asked. I nodded.
"Yeah, I don't think I've been to an amusement park before."
Orange smiled, "You'll love it. They have a lot of roller coasters and other dangerous rides you love so much."
"Really?" I asked, getting excited. Orange laughed at my reaction despite her comment. Don't be fooled though because she loves roller coasters and "dangerous rides" more than I do. I remember when we went to an amusement park in Oz one time and she rode a coaster ten times that the employees looked at her weirdly.
