"You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have"
—Anonymous

Luxus sits in front of a gravestone. He puts the flower in front of it and just stare blankly at it.

"The most painful goodbyes are the ones that are never said," he runs his fingers along the name on the gravestone and smiles sadly as he remembers what happened two months ago, at the hospital room.

"Anong ginagawa mo dito?"

"Bakit mo hinayaang mamatay si Anne?"

"Don't make excuses, Alonzo. You killed her."

"Of course we're mad! You couldn't even explain why you didn't tell us the truth. This is so not you, Alonzo."

"Sana ikaw na lang ang namatay."

He felt tears escape his eyes as the memory replayed inside his head. He touched the gravestone with his forehead and let the tears fall on the flowers.

"...and never explained." He said as his voice cracked. It still breaks his heart whenever he remembers everything that had happened.

"Why did you leave me, Scarlette?"

I'd like to say I'm OK, but I'm not
I try, but I fall
Close my mind, turn it off
But I can't be sober, I cannot sleep
You've got your peace now, but what about me?

"You didn't even gave me a chance to tell you that I love you even though... even though you..."

He couldn't finish his sentence as the tears kept falling and his voice completely broken, like his heart.

Thought we had the time, had our lives
Now you'll never get older, older
Didn't say goodbye, now I'm frozen in time
Getting colder, colder
One last word
One last moment
To ask you why you left me here behind
You said you'd grow old with me

He kept on crying, even as the rain started pouring, he kept on crying. Even as the sky went dark and thunder rumbled in the sky, he was still sitting there crying his heart out.

This woman, this woman that left him. This woman that he loved so much. This beautiful, perfect woman. His girlfriend. His 'forever'. His 'life', now lying beneath the cold ground. Sleeping for eternity like sleeping beauty, only in this case, no kiss could save her because the prince himself killed her. At least, he blames himself for it.

After crying for what felt like forever, he stood up. With a final farewell, he walked away from the grave slowly. His heart breaking even further with every step. He didn't want to leave her there, he wanted to stay there with her, but he didn't have a choice. He was not allowed to stay there and his parents would worry about him, and he didn't want anyone worrying about him.

God, how much had he wished for him to die and be with her.

How he wished na sana siya na lang ang namatay.
