As the light poured through my bedroom window, I groaned. Surprisingly, I didn't feel too bad, especially considering how much I drank and everything else that happened, but I knew a shower would help tremendously. I began to crawl out of bed when Jake's arms tightened their grip on me, pulling my back flush against his warm chest.

"Where do you think you're going?" He asked sleepily before peppering kisses down my spine. I giggled and squirmed under the delicate touch of his lips. I rolled over to face him, and he blushed. He looked so cute with his sleepy smile and warm chocolatey brown eyes locked on mine. I leaned in and kissed the tip of his nose causing him to blush even more before bursting with laughter.

"I was thinking that a shower might be nice...do you want to join me?" I asked fairly innocently. After last night, I certainly wouldn't say no to more of that, but a simple shower would be nice as well. He raised his eyebrows in surprise, but couldn't contain his smile as he nodded enthusiastically. I crawled out of bed and pulled Jake to his feet by his hand. He giggled and blushed before putting his hands on my hips and pulling me in for a sweet kiss.

"You're perfect, aren't you?" He asked in amazement as he looked into my eyes with a dazed smile. I shook my head and laughed before leading him to the bathroom.

After letting the shower warm up, we both stepped inside. We took turns shampooing and conditioning our hair, while stealing kisses and touched. We were pretty much finished and just enjoying the warm water when I heard the bathroom door open. I knew it had to be Sam, so I shot Jake a look, silently begging him to stay quiet.

"Quinn, we need to talk.." Sam said from just outside the curtain. Even if Jake wasn't in here with me, I would not want to have this conversation right now. He had avoided me all week, I should be able to avoid him for 20 minutes. "Please, Quinnie.." he added softly.

"Sam, get out!" I yelled in annoyance. Jake's eyebrows furrowed and he looked like he wanted to say something. I quickly put my hand over his mouth and tried to apologize wordlessly.

"Just listen to me.. I'm trying to apologize for fuck's sake!" Sam shouted and I heard his footsteps approaching the edge of the shower. His hand gripped the curtain and ripped it open. "Quinn, I just—Jake?" He frowned as he realized I wasn't alone. How did he know Jake's name? "What the fuck are you doing here?" He asked in confusion.

"Sam, get out!" I shouted again, trying desperately to fix this awkward situation.

"Don't ask stupid questions, Sammy. What does it look like I am doing here?" Jake said in an annoyed tone. "What the fuck are you doing in Quinn's apartment?" He growled.

"Do you two know each other?" I asked loudly as I stepped out of the shower onto the cold tile.

"This is my apartment, too.. I live here," Sam replied, ignoring my question, but glancing towards me and letting his eyes briefly wander. Jake noticed, and stepped between us, wrapping me in a towel before glaring back at Sam.

"There's no need for the chivalry..I've already seen much more than that," Sam said with a devilish smirk. Jake looked from Sam, to me, then back with a frown.

"Quinn is the roommate you've been talking about.." Jake stated softly. "She's the one that kept her heels on for you..." He sounded almost defeated as he said it.

"You're the biology lab partner that left a hickey on her neck then?" Sam shot back.

"Will one of you explain to me how the fuck you know each other?" I yelled, completely done with this.

"Sam can handle it," Jake said softly in his same defeated tone as he walked out of the room towards my bedroom. My eyes locked on Sam as I crossed my arms and waited.
