"Are you sure you're going to survive this trip?" I joked as Sammy draped himself over me while I tried to put on some makeup. He pouted as our eyes met in the mirror.

"No," he admitted before grinning mischievously. "I guess I better fit all these in now," he murmured into my neck as he attacked me with kisses causing me to bubble with laughter. He was absolutely relentless, covering every inch of my neck and shoulder until I turned around to catch his lips with mine while I caressed his cheek.

"Then I guess it's a good thing the trip is only 4 days, huh?" I purred before kissing him again. He nodded softly before hooking his hands under my legs and lifting me up onto the bathroom counter. "I don't know how I'm going to pretend I don't like you...even for a few days," I said as I pulled away.

He leaned his forehead against mine and sighed. "If you don't want to go, you don't have to...just say the word," he said softly and my heart sank, not because I didn't want to go, and not because I didn't think he wanted me to...just that I knew how much asking me to come home with him had meant, and he was already sacrificing that for me and his brother.

"No! Of course I want to go! It just doesn't seem fair to only go with Jake...I'm dating you too," I replied with a frown as my hands dropped to my lap. I looked down at my fidgeting hands trying to figure out a solution that didn't make this hard on him or awkward for any of us.

He trailed his index finger down my jaw line before using it to lift my chin until our eyes met once more. Staring into his mesmerizing brown eyes, my spirits lifted slightly. "Quinnie, if you wanted to walk in holding both of our hands...telling them we're both dating you...we can handle that and make it happen," he finished with a smirk before leaning in to kiss me gently.

"Your family would hate me.." I mumbled as we parted, turning in his arms back towards the mirror.

He swept my hair to one side and kissed the back of my neck and whispered, "Yeah...you're probably right. Maybe we should both just stay home."

I narrowed my eyes at his reflection but couldn't fight back the smile that crept across my face as he wiggled his eyebrows at me. "You're such an ass," I giggled.

"Yeah, but you love me," he beamed at me before lightly tapping my ass and walking back towards his room to finish packing. I added a coat of mascara and some mint chapstick to finish off my makeup, then put on a red knitted beanie that matched my favorite Christmas sweater. It was white with little red reindeer across the chest. I paired it with a pair of high waisted mom jeans and my black docs.

I walked back into my room to finish packing. Thankfully, I had already packed most of my clothes, so all I had left was essentials like my phone charger and toothbrush. Once everything was together, I zipped up my suitcase and dragged it towards the living room. Jake would be picking me up so we could go to his parents together. Sam was pouting on the couch with a beer in his hand.

"Where's mine?" I asked half joking after setting my stuff by the door. He smirked at me and held up the bottle of corona that he was already sipping on. I walked over to him and reached out to take it, but he caught me and pulled me into his lap surprisingly smoothly. I erupted with laughter as he wrapped his arms around my middle and held my back tight to his chest.

"Do you remember the first day we met?" He whispered as he rested his chin on my shoulder and sighed.

"Yes, you were a complete ass hole," I giggled as I leaned my face against his. "You were pretty cute though...even wearing Sasquatch boxers," I teased as I turned to half smile at him.

"Yeah?" He wiggled his eyebrows as he smiled back mischievously. "Imagine my surprise when the most beautiful girl in the world walked in to my apartment...while I'm sitting on the couch in my underwear," he giggled and I couldn't help but lean in to kiss him sweetly.
