"Quinnie, it's time to wake up," Sammy said softly as he gently kissed my forehead and cheek. I couldn't help but smile as I opened my eyes and saw him standing there with a big grin. He picked up the glass of water off the night stand and handed it to me, with the ice having melted long ago.
"How long was I out?" I asked nervously as I sat up and took a sip. Sam's cheeks flushed pink and I realized I was still naked. I giggled awkwardly before pulling the blanket up to cover my bare skin.
"Just a few hours..Jake said you needed the rest," he shrugged, but I could only assume that he knew why. "He went with Dad to chop some more wood, so he'll probably be back soon.." he explained once he noticed me looking around. "Here, before Mom catches me up here with Jake's naked girlfriend," he teased as he tossed me a pair of sweats and a t-shirt.
"Bra and panties too, please?" I asked sweetly, gesturing towards the suitcase sitting on the floor in front of the dresser. He raised his eyebrows as he pulled out a pair of black lace panties and a matching bra and held them up.
"When are you going to wear these for me?" He smirked as he tossed them to me and giggled playfully.
I rolled my eyes and laughed, dismissing his flirtation as best I could. His eyes never left my body, even as I clumsily wiggled into my bra and panties. I fought back the urge to pull him into bed with me as I noted the way he bit his lip while he watched me. I giggled and shook my head, replying, "You're shameless, aren't you?"
"Only for you, Quinnie," his eyes darkened as he stepped closer, letting his fingers trail along the lace that barely covered my peaked nipples. Having him look at me with so much lust and need always made my heart flutter. He leaned in and pressed his lips into mine, pushing his tongue in and massaging mine sensually. We shared a breath momentarily with his weight pressing into me as he deepened the kiss. I couldn't deny the throbbing need building between my thighs as Sam let out a low moan that echoed my own. "Please," he murmured softly into our kiss, already pleading for release.
"Sammy," I said breathlessly as I pushed my hand into his chest, past the paisley button up shirt that he left half open. "We can't," I managed to add while I had the strength and willpower. He groaned as he begrudgingly pulled away.
Once I put on some clothes, I took Sam's outstretched hand and allowed him to lead me down the narrow hallway and steps. He dropped my hand abruptly when his mom met us at the bottom of the stairs.
"We are having our annual Christmas party tonight, so we're going to do the gingerbread houses a little earlier than originally planned... Come pick out your kit and we'll get started once your dad and brothers are back," she instructed mostly at Sammy. Her smile widened when I emerged from behind him. "Oh! Quinn, dear. You'll have to team up with Sammy since Ronnie is away for the evening. If the twins are on different teams, they'll end up fighting like cats and dogs," she laughed as she explained, and I glanced over to Sammy, who was smiling wide and sincerely.
"Quinnie and I will mop the floor with them," he bragged before blushing once he realized he'd accidentally let my nickname slip. His mom didn't seem to notice or care as she laughed and ushered us into the dining room where we found 3 spots set up with everything you'd ever need to build and decorate a spectacular gingerbread house. My eyes went wide as I followed Sammy to the spot he chose and watched as he began rifling through all the supplies. I snorted a laugh as he counted all the pieces of candy and grouped them according to type and color, then turned to look at me with a wide smile.
"No cheating!" Josh called from the door as he burst in with a gust of cold wind. His nose and cheeks were bright red from the frigid air, but he didn't seem to mind as he walked in and slung his arm around Sammy's neck, wrestling him into a headlock as they bubbled with laughter.
