The main reason World War Two began was Germany. Hitler wanted his land back, so he was going to start with taking Poland. But first, he came to an agreement with Russia not to stop or oppose him by promising them two thirds of Poland, while he got the other third. It so happened that Poland made a deal with Great Britain and also France to protect it, so Hitler was at risk of those countries' wrath. But soon enough, he still invaded, and everyone had to choose sides. The US was already planning to come to the Alliance's aid against the Axis, but foolishly rounded up their entire navy fleet at Pearl Harbor. Japan then struck, bombing the harbor and successfully eliminating that threat, also fully bringing the country into the fray.
