World Change

Changing the world, much less bringing about world peace, is a task attempted by many and found to be nearly impossible. The very idea is preposterous, judging from how small disagreements between countries can cause anything from protests to a full-fledged war on any day. On a small scale, many methods can be used to cause or just plain force unity. Problems like a pandemic is the equivalent to locking enemies in together for a prolonged time; they both value themselves enough to work together to get out. But either situation, big or small, does not mean that the sides will continue to work together afterwards. The whole ordeal can be forgotten without a second thought. Even if they do choose to stay at a comfortable distance, world leaders die or are changed according to their very own laws, so any agreement cannot be expected to last more than a few years. On another note, leaders are only the surface. Citizens have rights and can easily outnumber officials if they try something against the rules. If enough of them don't like something that's been done by their leaders, they tend to make this known by any means necessary.
