Just a warning, there's some mild swearing, but nothing too vulgar. Just pretend there's nothing there if you're faint of heart. ;)
Another warning: this story does not have an outline, so I'll be writing with the flow please understand that, okay?
What do you guys think of the cover? I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!!!!!!! In all honesty, it probably looks like crap compared to all the other amazing covers on Wattpad, but hey, I'm proud of it, so please don't trash it! PLEASE COMMENT WHAT YOU THINK OF IT BELOW!!!!!!!

"The beginning of a new school year dawns upon us. What surprises will sneak up on us now?"
-Headmistress Yolanda of Primrose Academy
Chapter 1: The Journey
"Protect it at all costs."
"It's dangerous out there."
"Trust is a luxury you can't afford."
"Keep our secret."
"They must never know."
"Dangerous times are coming, dangerous times indeed."
Screams, cruel laughter, the crackling of fire. The wails of the lost, the hunted, the dead.
"Run. Run far away, and never look back!"
Ailana's, known by her friends as Lana, eyes snapped open. The words of her dream swirled through her head, reminding her of darker times, times that she didn't want to remember.
Raising a hand to her forehead, Lana ran a shaky hand through her tangled hair. Several loose strands came away with her hand, knotted around her slim fingers. Picking the locks loose, Lana silently pulled away the bed sheet covering her bare calves. The gauzy, black nightgown that clothed her body only fell down to her knees.
Bracing her hands against the mattress, Lana swung one leg over the side of the bed, then the next. She carefully rested her weight against the fluffy, plush rug spread on the floor. She took a moment to steady herself as she slowly stood, readjusting her center of balance in accordance to the swaying and shaking of the train that would take all its passengers to the illustrious Primrose Academy, known throughout the entire world for its students.
Or rather, its purpose.
Combing her spun gold hair back with her fingers, Lana made her way to the door of her compartment. She was lucky enough to have one all to herself, which she was incredibly grateful for.
She had always been an introvert.
Pushing open the door, Lana stepped out into the hallway, gently closing the sliding doors with a click.
The sky was still dark. The floating Luces glowed dimly, shedding little light in the alley. No one was expected to be up and about at this hour.
The faint lighting didn't bother Lana. She was used to it. Besides, all five moons were full tonight. They glowed brightly enough that Lana could see everything with clear vision.
