Okay, I know you guys are wondering-what the heck is this? An early update? Yeah, never going to happen again (probably).
So the reason I'm uploading early is because in a couple days I'll be leaving home to go on a 10-day trip. Why is this relevant to you, you may be wondering. Well, it's quite relevant because I won't be allowed to use electronics on this trip.
So that means I won't be able to update for a while.
And that's why I'm updating early. There will be no instant upload, but I'd still really like to get votes and comments! That'd be awesome, but the fact that people are actually reading this story is prize enough. Wait, forget I said that-YOU HEARD NOTHING.
OH, AND I AM HAPPY TO ANNOUNCE THAT I HAVE A NEW COVER, ALL THANKS TO THE AMAZING @sparksofmadness! PLEASE CHECK OUT HER BOOK, WHICH IS FOR MAKING COVERS. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS COVER, AND PLEASE COMMENT WHAT YOU GUYS THINK OF IT. DOES IT FIT THE STORY? I have attached the cover to this chapter just in case you guys didn't get it.
All righty then, I won't stall any longer. Please enjoy this chapter.

The Main Hall was filled with jovial laughter and chattering students...to me, it was the most beautiful sight I had ever beheld.
-Heather Flynn, Primrose Academy Alumna
Chapter 7: Welcome
Lana sat with the Fire Elementals, her eyes flicking throughout the Main Hall. It was extravagant, but nothing compared to the splendor back there.
A small smile curved her lips as she thought of a certain young girl whose eyes would still widen and sparkle with joy.
"WE GOT A DES MOINES!"
Lana was broken out of her reverie by the screams and shouts of her fellow Elementals. They were, by far, the loudest in the entire room, the air around them shimmering from the amount of heat that was being conjured.
Lana scowled at the use of her house name. She loathed that place, and hell would freeze over before she would ever call herself a Des Moines.
The Fire Elementals around her stared at her in awe, most of them first years, a couple of them older. Their eyes were taking in the glory that was known as Lana.
Lana herself was oblivious to her appearance to the outside world. She had never had time to really analyze or feel insecure about her physical appearance when she had to focus on honing her ability and pleasing the family.
To the outside world, Ailana Potentia Gilliad Des Moines was the epitome of perfection. Her hair was like spun gold, her eyes the color of fire, her body was what made up boys' dreams, and she emitted an aura of superiority and charisma that drew people in even is it repelled them.
There were only a select few who could resist her charm.
Three of them were sitting in this hall right now.
Lana's eyes began at the cluster of tables to her left-earth. Cole was uncharacteristically somber, his emotions hidden behind an unreadable mask.
A moment later, Lana was staring into brown and gold flecked green irises. Reed stared at her, a grim set to his mouth.
