"We're here!"

I opened the door and saw the bros standing up for our welcome. Today Midnight Blues was shooting an episode of 'Knowing bros'. We went to the table and did our group greeting. They gave us a salute dramatically as each of us introduced ourselves one by one.

Heechul Sunbae was on his feet when it was my turn, and held my hands. "Ah... Our Ae-Cha is here!" He exclaimed and I laughed. Other bros said he was being partial by showing me affection to which sunbae replied that I was an unofficial part of the SM family.

"No. No. She's from YG." Ruby wrapped an arm around my waist. "She's one of us now."

After a quick banter, we fell into a rhythm as we shot the episode. A few guessing games, and of course we performed our comeback song. I stayed in the background and cheered for my group members as they showed their various talents. Acting, dancing, gaming skills and all. I didn't want to snatch their spotlight as many fans had accused me of in the past. I wanted them to shine.

After that we settled into our seats with the respective cast members. This was the moment I was dreading since the second I read the script. Everyone was joking around, but I knew what was coming next.

"Yeah, she's silent most of the times." Lavender was telling them. "We've weekly meetings and Violet unnie go around asking each of us if we were doing okay, or if we had any concerns."

Teal added, "But then we turn to her and ask if she wants to share something, but she's always like, I'm fine. Why would you ask me that?"

They all laughed and my hands turned clammy. I needed to pull it off nonchalantly.

"Violet... umm is it okay to ask this?" Heechul turned to me. "How are you doing with all of the stuff that is going on?" he asked.

It was scripted, and I had personally requested him to be the person who would ask me this question. Some of the part of this show was scripted and these questions were actually given to us prior to the shooting so that our managers could come up with a relevant answer, which would resolve the issue without making it a big problem.

"About Kevin?" I smiled. "I got a call from him last night. He was quite concerned and asked if he should release a statement from his side, but I said no."

"You said no?" Heechul appeared to be surprised.

"Yeah. It was of no use. I had already cleared up the rumours, but some people just didn't want to believe it." I shrugged.

"Ae-Cha, Kevin and we've an SM rookie, these three used to be together all the time." Heechul started narrating the story. "I remember when I saw you three for the first time, ah I was like, it's good to be young. You three were so youthful and energetic even after hectic trainee schedules."

I nodded. "Yeah. Yeah, we were." A lump formed in my throat. "Those were good times."

"Mostly, idols don't refer to the training period as a good time. It's my first time hearing it," Sang min sunbae said.

"Well, it was for me." I looked up at the ceiling and everyone turned silent. They knew I was getting emotional, but what could I do. I missed my friends. I missed having someone to rely on. I took deep breaths and forced a smile. "I still tell Kevin and Miyoung that they made the training time bearable. I was happy, thanks to them." I didn't let my tears fall though and cleared my throat.

"You should tell your members when you are having a hard time," Heechul said and turned to others. "One time she twisted her ankle and was in pain, but she didn't utter a word because it was her friend's birthday. She never shares her pain. I scolded her so much that day."
