Y/N'S POV
I leave the patient's room and open his file to update the chart, when I'm done I give the tablet to the nurse
I look at my intern and tell her to keep an eye on the patient and to page me in case something happens
"Will do doctor Y/l/n"
I nod and walk away, suddenly someone grabs my arm and pulls me into a supply closet
"Amelia, what the hell?"
"You have to help me"
"What's going on?" I ask
"My ex is here" the brunette says
"So?"
"You have to pretend to be my girlfriend"
"W-what?" I look at her like she's grown a second head
"Please, you just have to trust me. We have to pretend to be in love"
The neurosurgeon grabs my hands and shows me her puppy dog eyes
"I- I don't know"
"Pretty please"
"Okay" I say
"Thank you so much"
Amelia hugs me and kisses me on the cheek, we exit the supply closet and I look at her
"So...can you tell me about this ex of yours?"
The brunette's eyes widen and before I can ask her what's wrong she grabs my white coat, pulls me against her and places her lips on mine
My heart starts beating faster and a shiver runs down my spine, I wrap my arms around the neurosurgeon's neck and respond to the kiss
A few seconds later I hear someone clearing their throat so I slowly pull away from Amelia and look at the person that interrupted us
"Hi Amelia"
"Hey Mandy"
"It's...nice to see you again" the woman says
"Yeah..."
"Who is your...friend?"
"This is Y/n, my..."
"I'm Amelia's girlfriend" I say
I grab the neurosurgeon's hand, interlock our fingers and kiss her on the cheek
"Nice to meet you" I look at Mandy
"Nice to meet you too"
"Why are you here Mandy?"
"Because..." she looks inside her purse
"I wanted to give you this"
She hands an envelope to Amelia and she furrows her eyebrows, I look at what's written on the envelope
"A wedding invitation?"

I finish combing my hair and put on lipstick, I look at myself in the mirror and let out a small sigh
Why did I agree to go to the wedding?
"Are you ready?"
I turn around and my breath gets stuck in my throat when I see what Amelia is wearing
She looks so beautiful
"Y/n?"
"Y-yeah, I'm ready" I say
"Great, let's go"
We leave the house and get in the car, we arrive at the location of the wedding and I must admit that it's really beautiful, we go take a seat and wait for the wedding to start

I look at the people dancing while waiting for Amelia to come back, I smile when I see the brunette walking towards me and when she's in front of me I grab my drink
"Thank you" I take a sip
The brunette sits next to me and I lay my head on her shoulder, suddenly she grabs my hand and interlocks our fingers
A shiver runs down my spine and I get butterflies in my stomach
Calm down Y/n, this is just for show
A slow song starts playing and I feel Amelia's eyes on me, I lift my head and look at her
"What?"
She stands up and shows me a smile
"Can I have this dance?"
I feel my cheeks heating up and find myself at a loss for words, I simply nod and get up
We go to the dance floor, Amelia wraps her arms around my waist and pulls me against her, I wrap my arms around her neck and we start moving to the rhythm of the music

We arrive at my house and get out of the car, I look at the blue eyed woman and show her a small smile
"Thank you for bringing me home"
"No problem, thank you for...agreeing to be my fake girlfriend" she says
I feel my heart break at her sentence and I clench my fist
"I'll see you tomorrow at the hospital"
Amelia walks towards her car but before she can get in I stop her
"I like you!"
She stops dead in her tracks and turns her head to look at me
"W-what did you say?"
"I like you! I've liked you for a while now"
AMELIA'S POV
I walk up the steps of Y/n's front porch and stand in front of her
"You like me?"
She looks at me and nods, I cup her cheek and bring her face closer to mine, I place my lips on hers and feel a shiver run down my spine
Her lips are so soft
I move my hand down her body and place it on her hip, I pull Y/n closer to me and she wraps her arms around my neck
A few seconds later I slowly pull away and open my eyes to look at the pediatric surgeon
"I like you too" I say
"W-what?"
"I like you too" I caress Y/n's cheek
She smiles, cups my cheeks and places her lips on mine, I wrap my arms around her waist and respond to the kiss
I lick her bottom lip and she opens her mouth, I push her against the door and squeeze her ass
"I want you" I whisper against her lips
"I want you too"

I slowly open my eyes and the first thing that I see is Y/n's beautiful face, I smile and kiss her on the forehead
"Hmm...good morning" she opens her eyes
"Good morning"
I place one hand under her chin and gently tilt her head up
"Kiss me"
"With pleasure" I say
We stay in bed just kissing and cuddling for the rest of the day, only getting up to grab something to eat and to use the bathroom
"I like you Y/n Y/l/n"
"I like you too Amelia Shepherd, so much"
