Y/N'S POV
I walk towards the conference room for the contest and bump into Amelia
"Good morning"
"Morning" she yawns
"Night shift?"
"Not really. I had a long surgery last night and I was too tired to go home so I crashed here..."
"And you didn't sleep that well" I finish for her
"Yeah...I guess the beds in the on-call rooms are more useful for sex and not for sleeping...if that makes sense"
I let out a giggle and look down at the floor to not let the neurosurgeon see that I'm blushing
"I'm gonna get some coffee, wanna come with me?" she asks
"Oh, I already had one. I'm going to the conference room for the contest to support Arizona"
"Alright, I'll see you later"
I nod and resume my walk towards the conference room, when I arrive I go sit down and wait for my best friend to arrive, a few minutes later I take out my phone and decide to text Amelia
Y: Arizona is nowhere to be seen and I'm bored
A: what do you want me to do about that? 😂
Y: entertain me
A: okay...let's play a game...21 questions?
Y: sure, I'll start. Favourite color?
A: blue. Favourite season?
Y: winter. Favourite animal?
Ten minutes pass by and I finally receive a text from Arizona saying that she's almost here, I send her a thumbs up and read Amelia's text
A: cheesecake. Do you like someone?
Y: y-yeah
I like you
A few seconds later I receive another text from the brunette saying that she has to go check on a patient and after replying I put my phone in my pocket, I let out a sigh and start thinking about Amelia
"A cookie for your thoughts?" a voice says
I look to my right and see my best friend smiling at me, I grab the cookie and bite it
"It's nothing" I say
"You sure?"
I nod and finish eating the cookie, the contest starts and Arizona takes a deep breath, I grab her hand and kiss her on the cheek
"You'll do great"
She smiles and squeezes my hand

"Okay, false alarm. The cookies had marijuana in them" Meredith says
"What?!" we all say
"Yes, I didn't wanna scare you"
"So you went with the rat poison?" Jackson says
"You scared me to death" Arizona says
"You knew they had weed in them"
We all turn our heads to look at the blonde haired woman and a look of realization makes its way to her face
"Right...yeah, I- I forgot"
Meredith tells us to stay here and after giving our phones to Wilson the two of them leave the room, from the corner of my eye I see Maggie moving and before I can ask her what's going on she quickly leaves
