AMELIA'S POV
"Good morning doctor Shepherd"
"Good morning doctor Y/l/n, you're on my service today?" I ask her
She nods and shows me a smile, the butterflies in my stomach start going crazy at the sight of her cute smile and I quickly look down at the patient's chart
"Get it together Shepherd, you can't act like this in front of an intern, no matter how cute they are" I whisper to myself
I look at Y/l/n and hand her the chart
"Let's go"
I start walking and the girl follows me, we arrive in the patient's room and stand in front of the bed
"Y/l/n, present the case"

"I can't help it Addie! She's just so perfect"
I place my chin on the palm of my hand and keep looking at the table where the y/e/c eyed girl is sitting with her friends
"What is she looking at?"
"More like WHO is she looking at" I hear my brother say
"Oh yeah, the intern"
"Will you both shut up? Derek, should I remind you that you slept with Grey before you found out she was an intern and have been trying to get her to go out with you for months now?" I whisper-yell at him
"And you Mark...you can't really judge who Amelia has her eyes on since you screwed a lot of nurses and probably a few residents too" Addison says
"Alright fine, we'll shut up" they say
I take a bite of my sandwich and check if I have any messages
Y/N'S POV
I can't help but stare at doctor Shepherd while she eats and I bite my lip
God, she's so hot in everything she does
"You're staring again" I hear Meredith say
"I can't help it Mer! She's just so perfect"
"Instead of just watching her from afar why don't you go ask her out?" Alex asks
"Are you crazy?! She's an attending and I'm just an intern"
"So what? Mer fucked Mcdreamy before she found out he was her boss and she has heart eyes everytime he's around"
"Hey!" the blonde says
"And we can all pretend that nothing's happening but we all know there's something going on between Cristina and Burke"
"Mind your own business Evil Spawn" Cristina says before pinching his arm
"Ow! You bitch"
We all giggle and keep eating our lunches

I walk through the hallways in search of doctor Shepherd and a few seconds later I see her at the nurses station
She's with doctor Sloan and they're talking to each other, I go towards them and they notice me
"Doctor Shepherd, I have the test results for Mr Anderson" I say
The neurosurgeon looks at them and two minutes later hands them back to me
"Go book an OR and prepare him for surgery" she tells me
I nod and walk away
AMELIA'S POV
I watch as Y/n walks away and I can't help but stare at her ass
"She has a great ass" Mark says
"Don't you dare Sloan"
I turn around and punch him on the shoulder
"Stop staring at her"
He starts laughing and pats me on the head
"Don't worry, I won't steal her from you"
I blush and go get ready for my surgery

Addison and I sit down at a table and order something to drink, I take a sip of my iced water and check my unread messages
"Your girlfriend just walked in"
I turn my head and see Y/n sitting at the bar counter with her friends, she's wearing a black crop top and high waisted jeans that highlight her legs
"She's so fucking hot"
"Go talk to her"
"Nope, not with her friends there" I say
The redhead shakes her head and orders another drink for herself, twenty minutes later I see Y/n getting up from the stool and going to the dance floor
"This is your occasion, go dance with her"
"Come with me?" I make puppy dog eyes
"Fine"
We both get up and go to the dance floor, we start dancing and having fun, a sexy song comes on and Addison not so subtly pushes me towards Y/n
Y/N'S POV
I feel two hands on my hips and I quickly turn around, ready to tell off whoever it is
"I'm so sorry"
I relax when I see that it's doctor Shepherd and show her a small smile
"It's fine" I tell her
She starts moving her hands away from my hips but I quickly stop her
Fuck it, we're not in the hospital
I start moving my body against hers and wrap my arms around her neck
"Dance with me" I whisper in the brunette's ear
She bites her lip and turns me around so that my back is against her front, we start moving to the rhythm of the music and chills run down my spine when I feel doctor Shepherd's hands on my body
I want her so fucking badly
I turn around once again and look at her in the eyes
"Fuck it" she says
She cups my cheeks and places her lips on mine, I immediately kiss her back and grab her jacket to pull her closer to me
Her lips are so soft
When we both run out of breath we break the kiss and I can feel Amelia's hands moving up and down my hips, I slowly open my eyes and look at the other woman
"I've wanted to do that for months" she tells me
"Same"
She smiles and kisses me again, I run my fingers through her hair and I soon break the kiss because I can't stop smiling
"You're so cute"
I let out a giggle and kiss Amelia on the cheek, the others decide to join us and we dance to a few more songs
"I think it's time we go home" Izzie says
I look at the neurosurgeon and cup her cheeks
"I got to go"
"Alright, I'll see you tomorrow at work"
I nod and peck her on the lips before leaving the bar with my friends
