Y/N'S POV
I walk inside the house, close the door and go to the living room. I lay down on the couch and cover my eyes with my arm
"Hey baby" someone whispers in my ear
I smile at hearing my girlfriend's voice and look at her
"You okay?"
"Yeah, just tired. It's been a long day"
She caresses my cheek and rubs her nose against mine, I smile and kiss her
"I love you so much"
"I love you too"
"Come on, you need to eat something" Amelia says
We go to the kitchen and eat dinner, after we finish eating the neurosurgeon gets up and washes the plates
"Can you take me to bed?" I ask once she's finished
Amelia giggles and lifts me up, she carries me upstairs and lies me down on our bed
"Sleep baby"
I lay my head on my girlfriend's chest and close my eyes, instantly falling asleep

I sit on the couch in the attendings lounge and let out a small yawn, I lay down and close my eyes
"Y/n" someone calls my name
I slowly open my eyes and come face to face with Arizona
"Hey sleepyhead" she smiles
"What time is it?"
"15:35"
I've only slept twenty minutes
I cover my mouth with my hand and let out a yawn, the blonde haired woman giggles and sits next to me
"Are you tired?"
"A little...it's been a hell of a week" I say
I lay my head on my best friend's shoulder and close my eyes
"I could sleep for an entire month"
Arizona giggles and wraps an arm around my shoulder

*Two weeks later*
"I'm so tired!"
"Same here" Amelia says
We both lay down on our bed and I place my head on my girlfriend's chest
"Thank god we have the day off tomorrow"
"Yeah"
The neurosurgeon twirls a strand of my hair around her finger and smiles
"Since we have the day off, what do you say about going ice skating tomorrow?" she asks
"I've never done that"
"Really?"
I nod and look at the brunette. She cups my cheek, brings my face closer to hers and kisses me
"Then it's settled! Tomorrow we are going ice skating"
I smile and nod, I close my eyes and instantly fall asleep

We arrive at the ice skating rink and get out of the car, we go rent two pairs of ice skates and put them on
I grab Amelia's hand and slowly stand up, my girlfriend lets out a little giggle when I take a deep breath
"It's gonna be okay, I won't let you fall"
