You and Scarlett. God knows what you two had. Everyone in the world knew that it was you too forever, no one had a chance with either of you. You loved each other more than anything.

However, when rumours lead to the both of you breaking up, the whole world went crazy. The paparazzi were following you, you had calls and calls lined up of interviewers wanting to chat. It was chaos.

Then you both decided to try work it out, you loved each other so was willing to put the past behind you. But then you found out that Scarlett was also talking to Elizabeth Olsen, one of your best friends. Which really pissed you off, but you didn't want to confront her, no. Instead you wanted to see if she told you anything, either of them.

So when Florence Pugh invited the three of you over, plus Hailee Steinfeld, you chose then to say something. You didn't even know if you were ready to be in the same room as Scarlett again, and florence only invited the two of you because she didn't want to be rude.

The night went well, you were friendly with one another (maybe a little flirty), including Lizzie. In fact, you all decided to get into the hot tub after a few drinks.

"are you guys back together?" Florence questioned, having seen the closeness between the two of you throughout the night. To be honest, you were being a bit of a bitch towards Lizzie, you wanted to make her jealous and Scarlett realise what she was missing by being all over her all night.

"we're not back together." You smirked, sitting back with your drink in hand, sharing a look with Hailee.

"You're not?" Hailee asked for you, seeing if Scarlett would say anything.

"No." Scarlett immediately answered, causing you to snap your head in her direction.

"I mean i was going to say no, but why are you saying no?" You turned to face her completely now, watching as she sat awkwardly next to Lizzie who just watched.

"Uh, because we're not..." Scarlett shared a glance with Lizzie, who was too scared to look at you.

"I know, but why do you sound so definitive about it?" You snapped a little, placing your glass beside you.

"I wasn't being definitive." Scarlett shook her head as she looked at you. Flo sat back a little, regretting asking as it lead to this.

"It sounded like it." You told her and she sat up, not wanting an argument.

"No i mean... she asked a question so-" Scarlett begin but you cut her off.

"That you didn't have to answer." You pointed at her.

"Ok." She tried to dismiss it but you carried on.

"But you did." You clapped you hands together as you spoke, splashing the water a little.

"I don't understand what we're arguing about so..." Scarlett shrugged as she took a sip of her cocktail.

"You and you're tone!" You pointed directly at her, Flo and Hailee sharing a look. They both knew why you were being like this so didn't dare get involved.

"But we're not back together?" Scarlett added, trying to understand. You scoffed and looked at Florence and Hailee, then over to Elizabeth.

"uh...yet." Scarlett added, realising her mistake.

"I mean why not just say 'we're working it out'?" You asked and Scarlett got annoyed now.

"You literally just said you were going to say no!" Scarlett defended herself, the two of you actually arguing now.

"Right, but that's me." You explained but Scarlett shook her head at your words.

"Meaning what?" She asked as she stared you down.

"Meaning that when i say it, it means something totally different than when you say it!" You snapped and Scarlett exhaled, running her hands through her hair.

"Okay, it might seem that way in your head Y/n, but it's the same way." Scarlett shrugged, trying to get out of the situation.

"Yeah, but it's also at the speed with which you said no." You then added, watching as Scarlett rolled her eyes.

"Oh giving me a fucking break." Scarlett let her head fall back as she spoke, done with the conversation.

"It was quick! It was like a reflex!" You faced Hailee and Florence as you told her.

"It wasn't." Scarlett spoke through gritted teeth.

"It was like her natural instinct right?" You now directly brought Flo and Hailee into it, ignoring Lizzie now.

"It was hasty." Hailee nodded, backing you up.

"You see?!?" You snapped at Scarlett again who just chuckled a little.

"Fine! I'm sorry for fucking saying no too quickly, okay?" Scarlett tried to end this conversation and stop it ruining the rest of the night, but you had other ideas.

"What? You were all over me in the house, telling me how much you want to kiss me and be with me again. An now, we're in the hot tub with your side bitch and you totally switch up!" You point at Lizzie as you speak, both her and Scarlett sharing a look which confirms what you were saying.

"Y/n I-" Lizzie starts but you put your hand up to stop her.

"No. Am I right, or am I right?" You spoke calmer now, trying to stop the tears that clouded your eyes.

"Lizzie and I, we..." Scarlett began but trailed off.

"You what?" You pushed her on, but when you got no reply, you stormed out the hot tub and walked into the house after grabbing a towel.

You were in Flo's room getting changed to leave when Scarlett barged in, closing and locking the door behind her to prevent you from leaving.

"Scarlett, seriously piss off, i don't wanna talk to you anymore." You didn't look at her as you spoke, instead continued getting dressed.

"I just want to talk."
