"One day I'll be able to take you to all of these places that you want to go." Draco runs his fingers through Sky's silky hair
"Y'know I don't care about any of that. All I care about is that we are together," her voice says lowly as she continues to look at the ceiling.
Paris, Rome, Germany, Jamaica. Just some of the places that Skyra Parkinson had always wanted to visit, but it was never a must. She had always been thankful for everything in her life and for Draco wanting to take her to these places.
As she slowly falls into a deep slumber, he whispers, "I promise that I will do everything I can to be able to take you to all the places that you have always dreamed of. I don't care what I have to do to make that happen, but I will make it happen one way or another."
While she sleeps, he remained awake trying to plan everything for them. He knew it would be a long time before he could take her to all of these places and that it would have to wait until after they graduated Hogwarts. All Draco cared about is trying to make sure that he could possibly give her the best life that she could ask for.
Although she grew up in one of the wealthiest families in the wizarding world, it was a personal mission to give her more than anyone else could; including her family. Draco knew that Skyra didn't care about the materialistic items in her life, unlike her sister Pansy who had to have the best of everything. Skyra was simple and was happy and thankful for what she had. She didn't request the most expensive items or the most lavish clothing. Simple, fashionable but subtly humble were how most everyone described her.
During functions, she would dress lavishly to make her family look good, but she felt somewhat out of place with a face full of makeup, tailored dresses, expensive jewels, and heels.
Her whole life she had told Rayleigh that she wanted a simple but comfortable life. She didn't care if she wedded the wealthiest man; all she wanted was to wed a man who loved her and would treat her the way she deserved to be treated.
Growing up she had never thought that Draco Malfoy would be the one to treat her well, considering their rocky friendship throughout the years. And when starting Hogwarts, how his vicious behavior continued. Here they are though, him being one of the best things in her life and having some of the best friends she could ask for.
Draco had always been told by his father that he will marry a respectable, wealthy, and presentable girl. By the way Mr. Greengrass had always been talking, he had wanted Lucius to promise Draco to one of his daughters. Lucius however has never been a fan of either of the Greengrass girls. Especially one of them being his daughter-in-law.
All Draco knew is that he didn't fancy either of them nor did he ever think he would be promised to a Parkinson. Though the Parkinson sisters are in the Sacred Twenty-Eight, he had never thought that his father would promise him to one of them.
Draco looks at Minister Pius with a smile on his face, thinking of all the places that he knew Sky wanted to go to. Places that only he and her know about. He was hesitant to tell his father and Pius where he plans on taking her, in case Cassius shows up and searches their memories.
For the safety of his girlfriend, he decides to lie to them about where he was taking her. "I haven't truly decided yet. It's wherever my brain decides when we leave. There are so many places she would love to see, I'm just going to randomly pick."
"I'm sure you will figure it out. Just keep her safe and have fun," Pius tells him. Then places his hand on Draco's shoulder, "just remember to practice on everything for the task."
