It felt strange being at Riddle Manor as a teenager rather than a child. It was still a cold place and didn't feel homey at all. Mattheo couldn't shake the feeling of everything that happened and was caused by Tom.

His heart hurt knowing that Tom could betray Pansy like he did. Mattheo expected Tom to betray him like always, but Pansy, the person he swore was perfect for years. Now that his father knew the truth about all that Tom did, he is now able to attempt a relationship with his father.

Although Voldemort wasn't the best father, Mattheo always craved a relationship with him; one like him and Tom had. Their mum had always pushed for one but it never happened due to Tom's constant lies and all the false accusations he told their parents. Maybe things can be different now that the truth has been told.

Maybe.

Right now, Mattheo knew that whatever his father wanted to talk to Sky about was something serious, especially when she told him not to tell Pansy anything.

"Father"

He looked up from the piece of parchment sitting on his desk, "Ahh, Mattheo, thank you for coming. I think it's time we have a long and overdue chat."

"I agree"

Mattheo sat down on the sofa across from his father's desk. His stomach was in knots considering he doesn't know how everything will turn out after this.

Sky remained standing in the doorway wondering if anyone was going to acknowledge her until the Dark Lord looked up, "Miss Parkinson, please sit. This conversation involves you as well."

"Yes my Lord," she replied sitting down on the opposite end of the couch from Mattheo.

He glanced at Mattheo before sighing, "Son, I am going to tell you this one time and I need you to pay close attention when I say it. Miss Parkinson is going to die."

"Father! You can't kill either of them! I love Pansy and Skyra is too important to kill. She is what the death eaters need. You–"

"Silence Mattheo. Neither of them will really die. Pansy is not the one we are using for this. Skyra is. This is something we have been working on for a few months and we are close to being able to set it in motion."

Mattheo was utterly confused on what the hell was going on. Sky and his father had been working together to plan something to make everyone believe she is going to die. What could they possibly believe will be accomplished by something so dumb and insane.

"Matt, listen, it's the only way to make sure this ends with my father, Tom, and everyone else. Not only am I in danger but so are all of you. Mainly Draco, Pansy, and Rayleigh. I have to be the one who ends this. No one can know. I wanted you to know because shockingly I trust you enough to make sure Draco and them remain strong."

"Why me?"

She let out an almost silent laugh, "For some reason I feel a connection with you. I don't know if it's a twin thing with Pans or not, but I can tell you care. I know you'll protect her and help Draco and Rayleigh through the grief. Draco is starting to open up to you and he doesn't do that often, so please be there. It's probably going to hit him the hardest when it happens."

The look of dread on his face said it all. He didn't know how to feel. He had just been rescued with Pansy and now he's going to have to be a shoulder to cry on for Draco Malfoy in the fake death of Skyra Parkinson?

What the hell was he getting into with these families? What was her father and Tom planning together and how was everyone else in trouble?

How could he be someone to help Draco, Pansy, and everyone else who loves her. How is this death going to take place or when will it occur? The overload of questions was bogging down his brain; he didn't know what to say.
