"Do you think they will ever find Pansy? It's been close to a year. If they haven't yet, what makes them think they will now?" Crabbe asked while shoving a chocolate cupcake in his mouth, not worrying about pieces of it falling out of his mouth.

Rayleigh lunged at him in anger, "Why the hell would you say that Crabbe? They will find her."

"Come on Ray, admit it, you even think that she's possibly dead by now. You've heard the stories from Tom about Mattheo. His own brother. Why wouldn't Mattheo hurt her?"

The room became reticent as the look of disgust, betrayal, and the thought of murder went through Rayleigh's mind. Granted, she at one point even believed that there was a possibility that Pansy would have already been dead, but she couldn't keep that pessimism going. She saw the look on her best friend's face of worry and losing hope that she would find her sister.

From that day on, she reminded Sky that they would find Pansy and she would be alive. No matter what, she had to continue to believe that. Keep that positivity for her best friend and everyone else. Even with the disagreements between Pansy and Rayleigh, Rayleigh never wanted anything this treacherous to happen.

There were countless days that Rayleigh and Luna would catch Sky sorrowing in the library or by the oak tree. Neither girl tried to console her because they knew that she would act as if nothing was wrong.

Rayleigh punched him as hard as she could, blood hurling from his nose, feeling a crunch in her own knuckles, "She's alive! I will kill you if you keep saying that! And you don't get to call me Ray!"

Despite her knuckles covered in blood, she continued to pulverize Crabbe's face. Not just in anger, but in fear that he could possibly be right that they may not find Pansy and this is just a wild goose chase. She could feel her body begin to weaken, falling to the floor, tears staining her face.

"They have to find her. They have to. Sky–"

She couldn't finish her sentence because she didn't want to believe what would come out of her mouth. Rayleigh would never forgive herself if she let herself believe it. How could she? Her best friend would never be the same and neither would anyone else.

"Pansy is not dead. Do you understand me?! They will bring her home. They will," she repeated those words over and over. If she kept saying it, then it would happen. It had to happen.

"Honey, calm down. I'm sure they will do everything they can to bring her back home," Narcissa reassured her. "You know they won't give up. Sky won't for sure and you know just like the rest of us, that means your brother and Blaise won't either."

Narcissa wrapped her arms around her daughter, letting her feel weak with no judgment. Narcissa has been hoping that they will bring Pansy home. The manor felt different with Pansy not there. No one has felt the same since Pansy

Rayleigh apparated out of the room leaving everyone standing there upset and confused. No one knew where she went, just that they were worried that she was going to do something dumb and potentially dangerous.

Dangerous- the word that no one wanted to think about just because of everything going on. The word that was truly happening around them. Pansy being kidnapped by the orders of her father and being gone for months.

Skyra and Draco have been searching for her while juggling school and work for the Dark Lord. The anticipation of finishing their tasks, but also having to focus on clues on Pansy's disappearance has put staggering stress on the two of them. While Sky blames herself, Draco feels utterly at fault even though neither of them could have predicted all this would be occurring.
