"Draco, get down here and talk to me!" Blaise shouted at him
He thought about it for a minute because he knew exactly what was going to come of this conversation and he didn't know if he was ready for it or not.
After giving it some thought, if anyone was owed any type of explanation, other than Sky, it was Blaise. The person who had been by his side through it all and now he really needed his friend. Maybe Blaise would give some words of encouragement, but knowing Blaise he would fall on his ass laughing at Draco's thoughts.
Jumping out of the tree he stood eye to eye with Blaise, "What bro?"
"Explain to me what just happened back there. Like even in Alaska because I am so lost."
"Alright, if we're gonna do this, then we need to go get food because I'm starving. I just have to tell Sky," Draco says as he walks back into the manor.
He makes his way into the kitchen where everyone else is and they all stare at him. He wraps his arm around her shoulder, "Is it okay if Blaise and I go to Hogsmeade for some food? I'll bring you some back."
"Of course, love. Have fun and be safe, please. We don't know if my father has anyone else out there looking for us."
"We will. I'll be back in a bit. I love you, angel," he says placing a soft kiss on her forehead.
With Draco, a kiss on the forehead shows the love and how much he adores her. Something that he had never seen from his father to his mum but he learned on his own and would forever remind himself to not be like Lucius.
Draco and Blaise apparated to Hogsmeade, finding a table and ordering some food. While waiting on food they enjoyed a few butter beers.
"Alright mate, start talking."
A chuckle left Draco's lips, "Okay man. So I was going to do a promise proposal. I mean we are promised to one another as is, but I love her and I wanted to promise that I will marry her after we graduate from Hogwarts. I want to give her an amazing life and I will do whatever that means."
"So what happened? Why didn't you ask?"
"Her bloody father and Fenir showed up while we were going out. But I hate to say this, but I'm sort of glad I didn't ask her yet."
A clear look of confusion spread across Blaise's face. "Why?"
"I didn't want to do it while looking like other people. I wanted to be us, but then Cassius and Fenir came and found us. After Tom, which is quite weird. How did he know where we were? We didn't tell him where were going and mum and father didn't tell him."
Blaise looked at Draco, "Wait. Right before Tom left and came back with you two, there was a cold draft then out of nowhere Tom apparated out of the manor."
Both Draco and Blaise stared at each other for a minute, both demented about the cold draft. Nothing was going through Blaise's brain like it was for Draco. There were so many different scenarios of what it could have been.
"So what are you going to do about the ring and everything with Sky?" Blaise questioned him
Draco shrugged, "Not sure mate. I want to do it mainly since we are under a lot of stress with everything. To give her something happy with the fact Pansy is missing and all of that."
"Well, I think that Rayleigh and I may have found something. Well, Rayleigh, thanks to the help of Luna."
Draco's eyes shot to him, "You didn't think to start with that?!"
"Mate, I wanted to know what was going through your head before I told you so we could talk. I haven't seen you all damn summer. I'd like to hang with my best mate for a bit."
