"Do. Not. Play with me, Riddle. Tell me what you did to her?"
Tom was beyond confused about what Cassius was talking about. Little did he know that Draco had altered everyone's memories of the last time everyone saw Skyra. Draco was sneaky. Sneaky enough to fool Cassius Parkinson on his daughter's location.
"I haven't seen her," Tom shouts across the Slytherin common room.
Not believing a word he says, Adrian walks by, Tom glances up, "Pucey, tell him I haven't seen Sky since earlier."
Adrian knows well enough that Draco had played Sky's father. He helped make sure no evidence of Sky was there, so it was clear he wouldn't stand up for Tom. "I haven't seen her since you and her got into that argument and you chased after her."
Anger filled Tom's face, "I didn't chase her!"
"You kept yelling at her to get back here and that was the last time I saw her. Malfoy has been looking for her."
"You are crazy! That's not what happened Pucey!"
He couldn't help but seem amused by the anger Tom was showing. Adrian knew that Cassius wouldn't believe Tom if more than just Blaise and Draco's stories lined up. Adrian had already warned Daphne, Nott, Crabbe, and Goyle that Cassius would presumably show up and question what happened.
Adrian wanted to be sure that they all had their stories in sync, throwing Tom under the bus. After the way he spoke to Sky, despite the history between him and Sky, Adrian Pucey would not sit back and let Tom get away with his tone and actions with her.
Not only was Tom angry with Adrian, but Cassius was angry at Tom. All signs point that he is the reason his daughter is nowhere to be found, yet Tom keeps denying it. Causing Cassius to become angrier.
"Why are you lying Pucey?! You know that's not what happened at all!"
Nott and Daphne came over, acting as if they were confused about what was going on between the two, "What's going on?" Daphne questioned Adrian
"Tom is saying that I am lying about the last time I saw Sky."
"What?!" Daphne and Nott shout in Tom's direction. Daphne practically sprints towards Tom with a look that could kill. Poking her finger into his chest, the tone in her voice was belligerent, "You listen to me, Tom! You do not say that Adrian is lying! We were all here when she took off and you followed her, screaming at the top of your lungs! So stop lying about this shit! Draco left here worried about her because of your outburst!"
Cassius glances at Tom, then back at Daphne, "Thank you, Miss Greengrass, Mister Pucey. I will handle him from here."
Daphne had tears forming in her eyes and a few slight sniffles causing Adrian and Nott to look in her direction. She sat down on the Green velvet couch in the common room. Both boys take a seat next to her.
"Daph, what's wrong?" Adrian asks her
Lifting her head up, facing straight forward, "I'm worried about Sky. We need to know if she's okay. She has to come back."
"We will go to the manor and talk to Malfoy. I'm sure he found her by now and she is asleep in his bed."
—--
"Do you think my father is still looking for me?"
"He will continue looking for you until you go to him. But I can't let you go to him. I–"
Cutting him off, she wrapped her arms around his neck, "I'm not going to him. I have nothing for him, even if he is my father. I'm more concerned about finding my sister, but I can't do that if he's out there looking for me."
