Best Friends

A/N: Sorry for the wait, I've had some things going on. It's not as long as I want it to be, but it will do, lol. I am fluent in Spanish and French, but I so use some slang, so some interpretations. I hope to have a new chapter up this weekend and a chapter of Dark Mark as well!

Without further ado, I present: "BEST" FRIENDS (WC: 5,960)

"Hey..."

"Hi." She responds. He looks at her, "Can we talk?"

"Yeah, I guess we can."

"Astronomy Tower in fifteen?" He asks her. "Okay, I'll be there."

He quickly leaves the Great Hall and rushes to the Astronomy Tower. Getting to the top of the Astronomy Tower he starts to decorate. Without realizing the fifteen minutes had flown by and he heard footsteps coming up the stairs.

"Sky is that you?" He shouts. "Yes Malfoy, you asked me up here and here I am. I'll just leave if you have a girl up here."

"Just stay there, let me finish something."

"Dude if you're seriously going to shag a bitch with me standing here, then you've stooped to a whole new level of asshole." He walks down the stairs staying one step above her to where her eyes must look up to meet his, "I would never do that. I don't want anyone else. I just want you. Will you put your hand in mine and close your eyes, please?"

With a moment of hesitation she finally secures her eyes, placing her hand in his, him leading her up the steps. Reaching the top, he takes one last look around at what he did, smiling and hoping that it will possibly fix things and maybe get some information from her. "You can open your eyes now."

Opening her eyes, they wander around the top of the Astronomy Tower. It was decorated with White and Pink Rose petals everywhere, twinkle lights hanging around the whole, a blanket with candles and a picnic basket sitting on the blanket. The sky is clear, with the Northern Hemisphere visible to the eye. In amazement and her eyes still wandering at the set up done to the tower, "Draco, what is this?"

"Sky, I love you. I didn't mean those things I said, I swear. I was just trying to help make it more believable for Mattheo."

"You should've told me beforehand! Speaking out loud isn't the only way of communication for us." Strolling to the edge of the tower, holding on to the railing. He stands next to her, resting his hand on hers as they both study the stars. "I know I should've told you and I'm so sorry I even said them."

"Is that how you honestly feel about me?"

Quickly turning his body towards her, lifting her chin with his index finger, "Bloody hell no! You're not worthless and you are not an easy fuck. You are the best thing that I have ever had in my life. I screwed up and I regret it. You're my world. I will do everything to make you happy."

Tilting her head on his shoulder, "Dray, are we good for each other? All we do is fight and go through this same merry-go-round bullshit."

His puppy dog eyes gleam down at her, "We're toxic together, but when apart we are a war waiting to happen. But one thing I know for sure is that no matter how toxic we are for each other, no matter the fighting and the bullshit, you are my past, present, and my future. I want you and only you."

"I love you Draco, but I think I need some time to be single. I'm not going to date anyone, I just need a week, please."

Kissing her forehead and pulling her in, "I love you Sky. I won't date anyone. I only want you. A week is all you need?" "Yeah, a week. That's all I need; it gives you time to decide if you still want me or not."
