Gaster was close, he could feel it in his SOUL. He traversed the landscape until he came face-to-face with a flickering portal.
In there, his SOUL commanded. Sure enough, the force he'd been tracking led into the blinking mass of magic.
SO CLOSE.
Without hesitation, he stepped through the portal. Red and green magic surrounded him, winding through his bones. It felt strange - invasive, even - but he held firm. A white light clouded the magic, growing brighter and brighter.
Almost... there...
When the light faded, Gaster found himself in a stunning little world. It was unlike anything he'd come across; not an AU... but a picture.
Almost like a pocket.
Standing before him was a house, pale yellow in color. Her scent was everywhere, practically soaking the small world.
She had to be here.
Triumphantly, he strided to the front door - which happened to be unlocked - and stepped inside. The interior of the house was quiet and neat. Someone was obviously living here, that much was true.
A cozy setup, nonetheless.
Finding the dainty kitchen empty, Gaster searched the whole house. Nothing. Fury bubbled in his SOUL, replacing the happiness he'd felt before.
No... no. She's supposed to be here!
And then, another scent registered. And another and another. Someone else had been here, too.
They took her.
He hated the feeling stewing in his bones at the realization. He'd found her fair and square! Nothing mattered except finding his prey.
She belonged to him, after all.

The first time you felt it, a strange tug at your SOUL, you dismissed it as unimportant. The day had started out nice: you woke up, got dressed, and helped Horror with breakfast. The experience was surprisingly domestic.
But then you felt it: a pull on your SOUL. It was soft, like a feather, yet hard enough to notice. Horror had given you a strange look when you'd stopped working and placed a hand on your chest, asking if you were alright.
It was obvious that he didn't believe you when you told him you were fine. The pull was nothing...
Nothing at all.

Dream called a few days after you moved in with Bad Sanses. You were surprised, at first, as you didn't know the Guardian of Positivity even owned a phone.
He certainly never used it.
"Hello?"
The line crackles lightly. "(Y/n)? Is that you?"
"Yeah," was your response. "Do you need something?"
"Your pocket's disappeared."
What? You waited for him to continue with rapt attention. He didn't disappoint.
"Ink just came back from the Neutral-Void. He says your pocket's just... gone."
"That's not possible," you say. "It's tethered to the very fabric of the void. It can't just disappear."
"Well it did," he sighs. "And we need you help. Please."
You open your mouth to answer when a familiar sensation washed over you. Something pokes your hand and you realize it's one of Nightmare's tentacles. "Uh- hang on a minute, Dream-"
The phone is wrenched from your hand. You squawk in surprise as it appears in Nightmare's hand. "Nightmare- What are you doing-!"
"Who made you upset?"
The randomness of the question momentarily stuns you. "Uh- what?"
"Who. Made. You. Upset?"
"No one did, I was just talking to Dream," you say. Nightmare's face scrunches up and he looks down at your phone. You can vaguely hear Dream's voice from the speaker, asking if you're okay. "Nightmare, give it back."
Ignoring you, Nightmare lifts the phone to his skull. "What the hell, Dream?!"
Alright, that's it! You march up to the goopy skeleton, intent of reclaiming your phone, only to be picked up and suspended in the air by his tentacles. "Nightmare, let me go now!"
He ignores you for the second time in a full minute. "Her what is what?!"
You struggle against the gooey appendages wrapped around you waist and chest. They feel rubbery, but are surprisingly firm, especially when he glares at you and tightens his hold.
(You fail to notice \one such tentacle squeezing right on the center of your breasts.)
"She's just being dramatic, Dream. I'm not actually hurting her," your attention snaps back to the present at your mention. "Would you shut up? I could have destroyed the phone, too."
Oh, you smug arsehole. As if on cue, you got a idea - a terrible, unorthodox, definitely-not-friendly idea. Leaning down, you opened your mouth and bit one of the tentacles keeping you in place.
It tasted weird, an interesting combination of rubber, black coffee, and, strangely, apples.
"ARG! Fuck!" A strangled grown left Nightmare's throat as the tentacle you'd bitted wrenched away. The remaining tentacles loosened and you took the opportunity to slip away, dropping onto the floor.
"Ha! Take that!"
Unfortunately, the triumphant feeling faded when you caught sight of said skeleton's face. His teal eyelight was so dilated that it almost didn't fit into his socket and a manic grin stretched all the way to his cheeks.
(In fact, he looked rather high-)
Suddenly, your victory didn't feel quite as satisfying.
Oh shit.
