All ten Sanses met in the doodlesphere, prepared for a fight. Ink, Nightmare, and Dream stood at the forefront of the group as they discussed plans.

"Stars knows what he's been cooking up, we need to be careful," Dream was saying. "Gaster isn't stupid, he probably already knows we're coming for him."

"then we need to get in there and overwhelm him," Sans said. "he won't be able to fight all of us at once."

"BUT WE NEED TO FIND (Y/N), TOO! WE SHOULD SPLIT INTO TWO TEAMS," Blue suggested. "IT WOULD BE THE MOST EFFICIENT."

"good idea," Ink nodded. "Sans, Red, Killer, Dream, and Horror should look for her while the rest of us fight Gaster."

For once, there were no arguments. Everyone was too focused on defeating Gaster and finding you to start fights with each other.

"Sounds good," Dream nodded. The others responded in kind.

"yeah."

"let's jus' go already."

"alright," Ink produced his paintbrush and created a portal. "i managed to track gaster's location, he should be in here."

And so, the calvary left.

Something felt off when you woke up, like a piece of you had just up and disappeared. Unfortunately, your thoughts strayed from the topic when you realized someone was sleeping next to you.

...It was Swap, a peaceful expression on his skull as he dozed away.

Your face grew hot as you untangled yourself from the covers, hastily jumping out of bed.

What the hell-

"(Y/n)?" You heard Swap's voice from the bed and turned to look at him, still reeling with embarrassment. "Where are you going?"

"Um... downstairs," you avert your eyes before asking: "W-What happened?"

Swap merely laughed, sitting up in bed. "Nothing inappropriate, I promise. You fell asleep on me and I didn't have the SOUL to wake you."

Oh, that made sense... it didn't make it any less embarrassing, unfortunately. "O-Oh, sorry."

"It's not a problem," Swap rises from the bed. You sigh in relief at his un-rumpled, all-there clothes. "Would you like breakfast?"

"Yes, but you don't have to make it," you assure him, albeit hurriedly. "In fact, I'll make breakfast."

"If you insist," he offers you a kind smile. "I will meet you in the kitchen shortly."

"Alright," you watch as he exits your room, humming to himself. Once you're sure he's gone, you quickly re-dress for the day, pulling on the same outfit Swap gifted you on your first day.

I look pretty good...

With a slight spring in your step, you walk downstairs and begin to prepare breakfast; scrambled eggs with toast. A simple, yet delicious meal. Neither you or Swap are particularly picky when it comes to food, anyways.

Soon, the savory scent of food fills the kitchen. You dump the eggs into a serving bowl and put the toast on a large plate, carrying both dishes to the kitchen table. From there, you set the table and sit down, waiting for Swap.

The way his face lights up upon entering the kitchen sends a half-baked sense of pride curling down your spine. He sits across from you. "This looks delicious. Thank you, (Y/n)."

"It's not a problem," you smile, serving yourself a portion of eggs and slice of toast. "I enjoy cooking."

He takes a bite of egg, returning your smile. "I can tell. It tastes wonderful."
