Your head shot up, looking at the large, holed-hand holding your wing, so big it nearly engulfed it.

"(Y/N)! WATCH-"

The hole in the middle of the hand began to glow a soft purple color humming softly. Your stomach flips as, in a flash of scratchy magic, it fucking teleports you behind the skeleton.

You try to struggle, but another hand wraps around your legs and chest, squeezing lightly. "Let me go!"

"Hmm... no."

The hands clamp down on your body harshly, drawing a pained grunt from your throat. Magic sparks in your palm, but fades when the hands glow brighter. You can vaguely hear the others shouting your name - mainly Blue, who's voice pierces through your fogged brain.

Your vision blackens as the hands squeeze tighter, chest heaving as harsh pants leave your mouth.

I can't breathe-

"-STOP! YOU'RE GOING TO K-"

Suddenly, the pressure eases. You slump in the hands' grip, greedily sucking in air. Lungs burning, your cloudly eyes find Blue's, which are contracted to the point of nothing. He looks terrified.

"-don't follow us. If you do, your dust will be the only remenat of your pitiful existence," you're sure you hear the skeleton say. The hands begin to vibrate, emitting the same sound they had moments earlier.

He's preparing to teleport.

No-!

Fear fuels your actions. Body wrenching harshly, you manage to slip your wing from the first hands' grip. A ball of pure, raw magic forms in your palm and you aim it at the skeleton.

BOOM!

The ground shakes as smoke envelopes the area. The hand around your chest squeezes so tightly you're sure it broke a rib, judging by the wicked cracking noise ringing in your ears.

"AAARGH!"

The smoke clears and you balk at the sight before you. The skeleton is unharmed, although his eyes flash dangerously.

Maybe this isn't such a good idea-

The noise starts up again. Your efforts have been in vain. Just before the dreaded light appears, your eyes lock onto the others.

I'm sorry.

Blue wanted to scream when you and the other skeleton disappeared. He had failed...

"that bastard!" Ink's eyelights were bright red as he swore colorfully. "that fucking bastard!"

"We need to find her," Dream said, unusually subdued. His eyelights were dark, for there was no positivity in the void. Not anymore. "Now."

"WE- WE SHOULD GET REINFORCEMENTS. STARS KNOW HOW POWERFUL HE IS."

"no, we should go now!" Ink interjected. "every second she stays with him could mean her life!"

"I agree with Blue... we'll have more of a chance getting her with help."

And so, it was decided.

Blue couldn't shake the feeling that if that skeleton didn't dust him first, the others would.

"Y o u  w h a t?"

It was obvious that no one was pleased with the turn of events. After arranging an emergency meeting, they all - including Nightmare and his gang, Red, Sans, and Error - met at the Doodlesphere.

Nightmare was practically seething with rage, face twisting in his 'scary face'. Dream flinched - hard. "Nightmare, please-"

"Don't 'please me, Dream. What the f u c k were you thinking?!"

Dream seemed to deflate even more. Sans stepped between the two brothers. "look, we're all upset, but that doesn't mean we can fight with each other. that's not going to get (y/n) back."

"Fine," Nightmare abandoned the argument, albeit hesitantly.

"what're ya fucks waiting fer? we need a plan!" Red exclaimed. "that bastard coulda killed her by now!"

In an unforeseen turn of events, Sans had previously admitted to knowing the skeleton, who turned out to be his father, of all things.

Gaster, as he was called, was a masterful, albeit terrible, scientist.

And he was supposed to have dusted a long, long time ago.

"he's definitely the one causing all the trouble here." Sans surmised. "stars knows what he wants with her."

After a while, mostly arguing between Nightmare and various Star Sanses, an agreement was reached.

They would search for you as long as it took.
