"Zuko"
I couldn't believe it, I mean it's him. He's here. I ran to him and I cried, he held me so tight and I cried even more because he's lost so much weight.
" I am okay"
I lifted my head up and looked at him, he held my face then smiled.
Zuko" I am home"
Me" I love you"
" I love you so much. I don't ever want to go through that again"
Zuko" We won't"
Me" promise"
Zuko" I promise you that you will never go through that alone. I am here, I will always show up for you"
Me" Do you still love me?"
Zuko" More than you can imagine"

We spend the next day in bed just the 3 of us. He hated that he wasn't around for his birth. I understand, I get his frustration but I was happy that he was here. I think his son would also just love that his father is alive.
Zuko" So my mother wants us to go to church with them today"
Me" No"
" You can go, I am not about to pretend like your mother didn't make my pregnancy a nightmare. I am all for thanking God for his miracle but I am not breaking bread with your mother"
Zuko" I am confused"
Me" Go to church, Zenimdumise isn't that big on breast milk but I'll pump and you'll have enough for the service"
Zuko" What happened?"
Me" She's your mother"
Zuko" And you'll be my wife and you are the mother of my son"
Me" They took me to court"

Me" Samke and your parents"
" while you were in hospital, Samke was trying to get me evicted from this house because your divorce didn't happen apparently something was misspelled and they couldn't file because you were sick. She was still your wife, and she made my life hell along with your mother. I spent thousands on a lawyer until Ezile's mother intervened and when my mother passed away, they tried to get me arrest because they day after her funeral I was supposed to appear in court but I didn't have the strength to show up. So I was in contempt and your mother knew mine had just died because I told your uncle. I hate her Zuko"
" I am tired of fighting them, so you go but I want nothing to do with them"
Zuko" Okay"

" When did you find this one?"
He asked me as I parked the car, he really wanted to go to church. So we went to my church instead.
Me" Was by mistake, Or I was so angry at God that I needed to vent to him in his house. So I was at Checkers and asked the cashier if she knows a church nearby. The lady behind me told me she was on her way to a ladies service, and invited me. That's how I found Harvest and I found a home"
Zuko" I feel like I left you with such a huge mess"
Me" I needed to go through it, to remember who I am and I fixed my crown carried on living my life"
Zuko" It's my turn to take care of you"
Me" You don't have to do that"

The service? Out of this world. I however felt it when the Pastor read Proverbs 17:9 "We will hurt others, and others will hurt us. But if you can forgive a fault, love can be restored. However, dwelling on wrongs and refusing to let them go causes angry division and painful separation. You may have been hurt in your relationships, or you may have been the one to hurt others"
Me" I need to fetch Kungawo from her sleep over"
" Will you take Zenimdumise to your parents place and I'll spend the rest of the day with Kungawo"
Zuko" Are you sure?"
Me" They are still your parents"
" Are you up to driving?"
Zuko" I will take Uber then you fetch us"
Me" I'll drop you off, don't want your mother to say shit about me and your cars"
Zuko" No, yeka"
Me" No, go"
Zuko" Some other time, we can fetch your sister then we all go out for lunch"
Me" Okay"
I texted his uncle and asked him to tell everyone to meet us at Hello It's me.

Lunch was lovely, I know he was shocked when he saw everyone. I love Zuko and certain things are worth the sacrifice. We got home and he went straight to bed because he was exhausted. I get that he wasn't 100% yet but I also just loved that he was here. I loved having him around.
Kungawo" Is be fine?"
Me" Yea, think so. He was in that bed for a year and all that physical therapy. He is trying hard to be normal again"
Kungawo" Will he kick me out of his house?"
Me" Why would you think that?"
Kungawo" He didn't know I am here"
Me" And so?"
" You are my sister, he loves and by extension he loves you"
Kungawo" It doesn't seem like he likes me"
Me" Akathethi uZuko, he is like that but he doesn't dislike you and he would never kick you out. He has been in hospital for the last year and he is trying to go back to his normal"
Kungawo" I just don't wanna ruin your relationship"
Me" hahaha if you babysit for us. Surely that will prove your use"
We both laughed
Kungawo" No thanks"
" I am off to my room, I love you Azy"
Me" I love you Ngawo. Remember you are my person before him. I will choose you over him. At any given time"

He asked, cuddling me from behind.
Me" Yes"
Zuko" Spoke to Chris and he says he will have the errors from the papers sorted on Monday. I will sign and we file"
Me" And the process will start again?"
Zuko" No, there's nothing to start again. She just has to sign the new papers and we will both be supervised to avoid errors"
" I missed you"
Me" I missed you too baby"
Zuko" I want you to Marry me"
" I want you to live the life you've always wanted. I want that for you and I'll give it to you."
Me" Njani?"
Zuko" I however need you to be patient with me, I will need you to keep your job until all the debt is settled. I just ask you to grant me that, I need to pay for everything and get back on my feet, you'll have your dream of being a housewife and I will take care of us"
Me" And Kungawo"
Zuko" She is included in my plans"
" I did promise your mother I will take care of you. I will always keep that promise"
Me" I don't mind working, I have adjusted to having a job"
Zuko" Please don't you ever adjust to nonsense. I am just asking you for a year and I will do everything I once promised to do for you"
Me" Everything?"

Zuko" Qha. And we will be back to regular scheduling"
Me" I want another baby"
Zuko" Hahaha I figured, I'll give you all the babies that you want. All I ask for is a year to get everything back to normal"
