Drac was the first to wake up with Venus banging her little fists on his chest and was looking around for a place to latch on. He yawned and said that he wasn't mommy. Venus couldn't understand as she's a baby and kept looking around, starting to fuss in which sounded like confusion. He knew it wouldn't be long until she would begin to cry so he quickly tried to wake Ericka up. She groaned and asked what he wanted, slightly cracking an eye.
He was about to respond but she heard Venus's whimpering first which immediately made her sit up and go into mom mode. She grabbed Venus off of him and immediately began to feed her. She was like 'if she was hungry why didn't wake me up sooner??' And he retaliated saying she woke him up just a few moments ago, noticing how much brighter everything looked around them. He looked out and saw that it was daytime.
He said they might be able to make it Transylvania in one shot the same day if they hustled. She pointed out that he couldn't go out into the sun and that they had no money. He said he still had the sun screen and that he could sneak them onto a train. She said both of those things are illegal as he stole the sunscreen without asking and boarding a train without a ticket is jail worthy. but he said he was willing to do anything to get them home.
She couldn't do anything but reluctantly agree.
They waited for Venus to finish eating before leaving the fort. Ericka said she needed to use the bathroom before leaving so Drac took Venus while she went to relieve herself. Drac waited about 5 minutes before starting to get worried about what was taking her so long. He couldn't go inside so all he could do was wait outside. Eventually she shuffled out saying she was bleeding.
He asked how and she said that one of her stitches might have come a little loose. He suddenly said it was awesome and she said it very much wasn't awesome. He said in order to get on the train she'd have to cause a distraction so he could hop on the back and teleport her onto it with him. She asked what this so called distraction was and he started to explain it as they left the library.
Later Ericka was in the train station bathroom, grumbling how embarrassing it was. The plan was for Ericka to pretend she had given birth to Venus in the bathroom and come out screaming for help. Whilst everyone looked at her, Drac could hop onto the back of the departing train and teleport her onto it before any of the bystanders could do or call anyone. To make it look convincing Venus and Ericka would have to be crying, and she would be bleeding. One of her stitches had loosened so that worked. It was rather uncomfortable and painful but it worked in the long run. She kept Venus wrapped in her blanket but covered it in toilet paper until you couldn't see the blanket underneath. She didn't know or want to make Venus cry.
She noticed her trying to find a place to latch on and wanted to let her nurse, but needed to make her cry. So she didn't take off her clothes. After a few seconds Venus started to whimper, and then began to cry, making Ericka cry as well. Hating seeing her baby sad, her post-birth hormones still off the charts. She heard Drac's signal as he lightly banged on the door and she stumbled out of the stall and headed for the door, her tears blurring her vision.
She burst out of the bathroom bawling her eyes out, and screaming she needed help. All the attention went over to her and many people were stunned. She had never felt more humiliated in her life, which just made her cry more. Drac took the opportunity and rushed to the train as it started to pull away. He hopped on the caboose and looked back over at Ericka and got ready to teleport her to him.
People were trying to approach her as she kept stumbling around and screaming, the excessive movement causing her loose stitch to bleed even more. A few people were pulling out their phones, some didn't do anything more than just stare at her, and others kept trying to keep her from running around and screaming. Then suddenly she was encapsulated in a purple magic cloud, and when her vision returned she was standing on the back of the train.
