He complimented her acting and she said to thank the hormones, trying to stop her tears. She pushed past him to enter into the empty train car and sat against the wall, taking all the toilet paper that she wrapped around Venus and gently putting it into her clothes and pressing it against her bleeding gash so she wouldn't keep bleeding all over the place. She then immediately let Venus nurse to make her stop crying as it was starting to hurt her ears.
He peeked his head into the train car and saw her sitting on the floor, still wiping her tears and sniffling. He caught the feeling that she was extremely embarrassed and upset. He apologized and said he didn't know what else to do that would catch everyone's attention. She would retort and say maybe he should have been the decoy.
He asked if she had teleportation abilities rather roughly and made her cry again, prompting him to immediately apologize and go over to comfort her. He said he was terribly sorry and that he didn't mean it like that, wiping her tears with a finger, her leaning against him and starting to calm down. She eventually released a shaky breath and fell asleep, he brushed some loose hair strands out of her face, only sounds were the train chugging down the tracks and Venus suckling.
He didn't let himself sleep so he could keep track of when they needed to get off.
(In the real UK there isn't a railroad that connects it to the rest of Europe but in my version it does cause I need to be conservative)
After a couple of hours he woke her up. She asked if they were there yet and he said he recognized the area as Bucharest. The train pulled into the station and they hopped off of the back, going into town. She asked how they were going to get to Transylvania from there and before he could say 'I'm not sure' something familiar caught his eye. He saw one of his hearses picking up passengers, probably going to take them back to the hotel which made him confused since the hotel was closed. He grabbed Ericka's hand and ran over to the hearse, catching her off guard with him suddenly jerking her without a warning.
He asked the driver if he was driving these passengers to hotel Transylvania and the headless horseman replied with a yes before realizing who he was talking to. He stuttered that everyone thought he was dead dead. Drac asked if he looked dead dead to him and the Horseman would decline. Drac would ask if he could take them back to the hotel and the driver would accept, leading them to sit in the back row. The passengers in the middle row looked confused, a young boy taking a very obvious photo before posting it.
On the ride to the hotel Ericka tried to go back to sleep, but she heard the echoey voice again, swiftly sitting up when it felt like it was yelling in her ears. He asked what was wrong and she said she's been hearing a voice. He asked why she didn't tell him sooner but she thought she was just going crazy. She said it's like it's trying to communicate with her, which just made her confused as it also knew her name.
With the strange reoccurrence, they arrived at the hotel. All the passengers got out while Drac and Ericka got out last. Venus had been sleeping heavily through all of it, seemingly exhausted from all the traveling. Inside everything looked to be in normal working order, which confused him even more as to who was running it.
He went over to the reception desk while Ericka lagged behind, taking everything in, thinking about how it's her new home. She caught up with Drac and saw him being very surprised when he saw Linda was working the counter. At first she didn't register that it was Drac until she heard his voice. She expressed her shock and he asked what was going on while she hopped over the desk and hugged him, which made him shocked as well.
Linda said that after they got the news that he and the others passed away she and Mike decided to come down and run the hotel and host a funeral for all of them. But now that he was here alive and well, so she asked where the others were. Drac broke down and said they were actually dead. Him and Linda hugged again and cried together. They broke apart when they heard Venus start to fuss and cry, Ericka trying to quiet her down. Linda asked if she was trying to check in and she said she was with Drac. The story concludes with Ericka saying her new name, Ericka Dracula.
The last four chapters will be the epilogue!
